I do find Loocheechandchongiwillkillyou a bit overrated...but, with McJesus, he should continue that aura and pot a few goals. Look at what Maroonandnincowpoop achieved with McJesus last year.

WTFBBQ at Habs...They trade PK because of his personality and instead, sign a cancer like Radulov...this is the same Radulov that Weber ENDORSED and got burned as a Pred. And now, Weber is a Hab. WTFBBQ indeed. I guess the Habs want to match Edmonton for stupid.

For once, Phil really is thrilled...

Zatkoff goes to the Kings. So, automatically, Deano is a genius and Kings have the bestest goalie evar.

Well, now the Hall for Larsson trade is alot better: Larsson AND Loocheechandchongandikillyoulater for Hall. Not terrible. Oilers are alot meaner to play against now.

@ Gustavsson going to Oilers...
Trolling Canuckistan
If Looch is now McJesus' winger I'm setting the under over on how many cheap shots McJesus receives at 1.

Overrated "tough" presence, IMO.
I mean, he will bring an edge to the Oilers overall but I don't buy into the protection plan idea in today's NHL...maybe that's just me.
Senior Moderator
BTW, white label, what do you think of Backes being a Bruin?
Trolling Canuckistan
Im not opposed to it but I'm still indifferent until I see some winning going on
Plus, I'm still waiting on my Boychuck replacement as well as a Dougie Hamilton and a Seidenberg from three years ago replacement.

Sighdenburg got bought out, right? I recall Shirellighetti picked him over Boychuck and well, we all know what happened to Boychuck and his departure to NYI.
Trolling Canuckistan
Seidenberg did get bought out, it was a bad buyout for cap penalty reasons. They would have been better of trading him and retaining half his salary, the cap hit would be slightly higher but it would have been over in 2 years instead of 3 and the total penalty would have been less. At the very lest they should have kept him one last year and bought him out next year with one year left. Unfortunately it was General(ly bad) Managing.

Boychuck was a great locker room guy, not the leadership type but the lighten the mood type keep the spirits up. The biggest problem with Chia Pet trading Boychuck was that it was for cap space that we didn't need because we didn't use it to get anyone.

And we trade most of our development prior to fruition. That is why I am worried we will trade Krider, J.T. Miller & Hayes like Talbot.
Senior Moderator
And Hayes was stolen from the Hawks.
Anyways, I think it will be a good idea for the Rangers to stockpile their farm for the next while...it can turn around quickly -- look at the Pens: A combo of vets and young guns...

If it makes you feel better Hayes was uninspiring last season.

No...not that. Just wondering what makes Edmonton think the Monster has anything left? Al Montoya, Anders Lindback, and even Jhonas Enroth would've been better choices? And healthier too.
Senior Moderator
And sure, Montoya signed...but, if backup goalie was something, Edmonton had some better choices. That's all I'm saying. And yes, there is no pleasing me with what the Oilers do unless they win the next 69 straight Cups because of all the 3241343127409324732094 first overall picks they were gifted.

Nope, if there are no moves you have to protect those players
