Whining like a girl may have something to do with having your testicles speared with the blade of a stick.

First, I'd like to thank the city of Buffalo and the Sabres organization for their amazing hospitality and to say hi to the viewing party going on over at Rexall place right now. With that being said, the Edmonton Oilers are proud to select with the #1 pick in the 2016 NHL entry draft, from Zurich in the Swiss-A league, Auston Matthews!

What was the "Edmonton Oilers" rules put in place to mitigate their chances in 2016...? There are 3 draws now...?

Edmonton does NOT need another rookie. Edmonton needs some veterans who can teach the kids a thing or two.

That was a nasty crash McDavid had though. I feel bad for the kid.

That, or the Oilers are trying to give yumcha a nervous breakdown. I'd believe either.

Not as bad as Chris Kelly's fall last night. Out 6-8 months (read career ending) with a broken femur.

I hate to say it but being a member of the femoral nailing club, hes done and his feet will never point in the right direction again. He's going to lose a ridiulous amount of muscle tone and the flexibility he previously enjoyed on this left leg will be reduced dramatically.

So, FWIW, we obviously (obviously) will never see eye-to-eye about your Patriots and Brady but I'm truly sorry you had to go through that.

Ouch.

How's your ability to walk/run now...?

Walking, fine. Running, can do but feel every step on my right leg. My biggest losses are snowboarding, my freestyle bike and being able to sit Indian style. Those are basically lost to me, all I can safely do on the bike now is ride a wheelie til the sun goes down.

I don't feel bad for myself. Yeah it sucked, yeah it was painful, but in the end it's something that gives you a lot of perspective on things and how they could be worse. One of those, if it doesn't kill you it make you stronger kinda thing.

Possibly, but he did take a run at Stall from the bench to the corner boards, got hit back left the ice & immediately came out whining.

Even if the DA won't press charges, I hope the NHL suspends Kane just to teach the idiot a lesson. All that talent but not an ounce of common sense...

Kane could still face discipline from NHL - Article - TSN

So you're listening to jack and brick. Jack Edwards is always called a homer but it's not true. The guy is just over the top at all times. Listen to how excited he get when either team is close to scoring or someone makes a nice move.

He knows all the other players on the opposing teams and what their skill sets are. He's always giving players their props for what they being to the table regardless of who they play for.

I will say this though, the bruins never miss the net wide, listen to how many times he says, "intentionally wide" on a b's shot.

Washington may miss wide, the bruins always meant to do that.

Kinda bummed. Now we'll have to call yummy's team: the artists formerly known as the Windy City Rapers.

That's not going to be necessary. Yummy's never been a stickler for such trivialities as facts, proof, or the truth

Sure.

But, at least that's not as bad as some football team in New England we all know who are not sticklers for trivialities like rules and sportsmanship.
