Besides the Kane incident and the fact that they employ Marian Hossa I honestly can't find anything to make fun of the Hawks about. They're so clean cut. Starts with the Captain I guess.
Unlike the Bruins who have crybaby Rask, Lucic, head hunter Chara. Had Tim Thomas. Very easy team to hate.

Unlike the Bruins who have game 7 against the leafs, the seventh game against the leafs, the last game of the series against the leafs. The only time we made the playoffs in a decade. Very easy team to hate.

You never changed his avatar to some leafs embarrassment photo (blackack), never posted 15 pages of maple leaf jokes (me), or changed the thread title to the "maple leaf joke thread" (yumcha).

They had an agreement to trade him before the deadline to an NHL team. It's only fair, you can't take the queen of England out for dinner at White Castle
Had to look that one up because something about that kid seems somewhat doooshy. But after taking a second look, it doesn't really appear to be headhunting to me. If anything he's carrying some decent speed around the cage and tries to pull up at the last second when he realizes Fraser is vulnerable.
It's not as if he's intentionally hitting Zetterberg in the head like Benn-doosh or cracking Z's helmet with a face slam against the glass like Shea-doosh (neither of whom were suspended).

Oh and domcha, put up or shaddup this time. $100 bux says Babs extends in Detroit.
Let's list the pros of staying in Hockeytown:
1. More money
2. Stability and steady ownership
3. Culture of winning
4. Young team on the rise
5. Great veteran leadership that demands accountability
Let's list the "pros" of the centre of teh hockey universe:

2. Higher taxes, higher cost of living
3. Neverending banal circus
4. Mundane media trope
5. See number one, rinse/repeat

I completely disagree with this suspension, it's unwarranted and not fair. Kadri shouldn't get a gift like this from the league for a dirty hit, he should be forced to extend his contract with the leafs by 2 years. That would actually teach him a lesson

Can't agrue or disagree on any of those points.
But he's still coming to Toronto. :shrug;
Very.
And to dom's point a few posts back...you don't need heaps of goals to have a damn entertaining game, IMO.
This reminds me of the couple of tilts the Hawks had with the Pens recently which were not that high-scoring given the talent on both teams but was just absolute riots to watch.
