I do hafta say, if there is a "villain"...there's Marty St. Louis whose big ego could not deal with the fact he got left off the Olympic squad initially by his own GM.
Sure, I'm sorry his Mom is gone. But, c'mon...man.

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Mayor Eric Garcetti Wednesday announced the wager he made against New York Mayor Bill de Blasio preceding game 1 of the 2014 Stanley Cup Final.
The loser of the bet will help perform a rendition of the rival city’s song on Jimmy Kimmel Live!
If the LA Kings beat the New York Rangers, de Blasio will sing Randy Newman’s “I Love LA”; while if the New York Rangers win, Garcetti will perform a rendition of Frank Sinatra’s “New York, New York”.
“Looks like another perfect day for the Kings to take home the Stanley Cup,” Garcetti said. “From the west side to the east side, the Kings will reign. Go Kings Go!”
The losing mayor will also provide hot dogs for Kimmel’s audience — Garcetti’s would be from Pink’s Hot Dogs, while de Blasio would be from Grays Papaya.
“Start spreading the news, it’s been over 20 years since the Stanley Cup has found its home in New York City, and we look forward to it making its way here,” de Blasio said. “Let’s go Rangers.”
Game 1 of the best-of-seven series will be played at the STAPLES Center Wednesday at 5 p.m. PST.

As I said the last time Blakaak brought it up, the ish gets thick in here & sometimes stepping back is in order.
I'll be here every second of every game & I hope to be happy.
bAb made you all jealous, he's not funny, he is fun! Effective immediately every time someone brings him up, I'll post this:
She will haunt all y'all!

I use "villain" loosely.
BTW, if you want over the top, go read a post about someone evaluating the GT-R (sure, you can argue it's an ugly car) and then basing it's abilities after driving a 458 Italia.
Meanwhile, allow me to go compare a Timex's quality, feel, looks to a Rolex.

FWIW, cabby...no one is hating on your Rangers in here...well, at least not me. I hope they play well and the spoils go to the deserved team.
I want a closely fought game tonight and it to go into OT!

The fight for the Stanley Cup between the Rangers and the Kings just got tastier. Governor Cuomo has placed an interstate wager with California Governor, Jerry Brown
Cuomo and Brown struck a deal, with each governor betting some local flavor on the game's outcome. If the rangers win, Brown must send Cuomo California's famous Lumberg organic brown rice cakes and a book about California's history. If the kings win? Cuomo must fork over a commemorative hockey puck from the 2013 "hat trick" and a gift basket featuring culinary delicacies from across New York State.
The first game of the Stanley Cup finals will be on Wednesday, June 4th at 8pm est in Los Angeles

Rice cakes? I think this really goes to prove that Brown really is senile.
