Meh Things

San Jose played a great exhibition game against an East opponent last night. Although they were held to only 48 shots on goal.

Six days until Detroit gets invaded by domcha's who can buy seats on the glass at JLA, nice medium rare stake at Wolfgang Pucks with a bottle of '05 Sassicaia and a suite at the Westin Book Caddilac ALL IN for less than the cost of nosebleed seats at the ACC.

That kinda sounds like you're inviting me out to dinner and the game next week?

Considering the booze and hotel room, he might have more planned for you than dinner and the game.

Bernier gets a chance at redemption tonight.

What's the over-under on the Kings getting well North of 40 shots on goal?

You don't do much gambling do you Moogy? Since no part of, "What's the over-under on the Kings getting well North of 40 shots on goal?" makes any sense, I'll set the over-under at 16 which also makes no sense.

As much as the idea of fondling yummy cake's man~ thrills me, I don't waste my time on guys who failed at pro hockey.

I save my inner Rounder for times when Blackack is hitting the bars trying to pick up Cindy.

Waldorf forgets that the Kings USUALLY have a popgun offense. But, give them credit, they have been hot after the Olympics. Carter playing with Captain Serious really ignited his rear...

So, I'll set it to the under for Waldorf's weirdly-worded over/under of 40.

I say around 33 shots.

Do you have some sort of insider information that made you lower your shot totals?

Seriously, how can they not fix the fact that they give up 40+ shots a game? I don't get how they can't adjust to playing a bit more D.

Perhaps the Leafs can watch the defensive skills clinic tonight in LA and learn something.

Leaves 3 Queens (in purple, I was looking for Marcel Dionne out there) 2

Queens wins streak snapped at 8, by the Leaves

Leaves beat Queens without Bernier, mostly.

Leaves beat 2 of the best teams in the league in 4 night span. Go 2-1 in Cali.

You guys sure the West in best? At least the queens got 40 + shots . look how the mighty Meh Things are doing out East. They can't compete. Maybe the teams in the west have those great records because they're playing themselves.
