Our offense has yet to put a full game together, yet we're 6-0. Newton is the best player in the nation right now, and will be the SEC POY. He has a chance to win the Heisman, but we have to keep winning ( Renegade).
Our defense just doesn't have the talent to play press coverage so we're playing a lot of soft zone, giving up the short pass, but taking away the deep ball. The defensive strategy works WHEN you can make open field tackles, something we didn't do well against Kentucky.
The next 2 games against Arkansas & LSU will tell a lot about our team. IF we win both, then we will make a run at the SECCG.
Kentucky had less Total Yards against us than they did Florida, yet Florida's score was a bigger margin. Two reasons.. Penalties & Kick Returns. We had 88 yards of penalties, some were BS, and shouldn't have been called. Also, they had 180 kick return yards against us, which gave them good field position on a lot of their drives.
Throwing the deep ball was a complaint we had in 2003.. same story different team. You'll need a new OC before anything changes

Concussion.
Auburn will always be my, 'well if we can't win it' team. Gotta say, both defenses left a lot to be desired.
UGA finally played a complete game. If we can be at 4-4 playing Florida, we'd still be in the discussion. Amazingly.

UF and USCe: a FG for either to go into OT. The beasts of the SEC Least. At least Meyer had enough sense to try to tie.
The SEC West should register a porn site web name called Atlanta.

As hated as he is though, Bobby Petrino is an amazing offensive playcaller. He knew how to exploit our defense which led to some great big plays for Arkansas.
Will be a great game, and hopefully we don't make Jordan Jefferson look like an all american

Haha hopefully lee will start... Once again he proved to be the better QB... Les must have a hard on for jefforson
Lee led all 4 touchdown drives... No INTs or fumbles...
Jefferson had no good drives and a fumble... WHY DOES HE START!?

LOL south carolina beating the gators this year? Is that a joke? Our offense is going to be absolute domination this year. Our weapons at WR are scary. The big concern is the defense, but I think we will be plug and play. Not good enough for national championship, but I think we only lose 1 game and get to the SEC championship
Props you even know what's up and you're a bulldog. Brantley is a true pocket QB and his vision will be much better than Tebow. Surprisingly he's also fast runs 40 yrd dash in 4.58
Last year all of our WR's were hurt, this year I expect them to just go crazy. Seriously.
Debose, Carl Moore, Deante Thompson (will be a monster with a real passing QB), and I really like Omarius Hines (needs more play time)
We still have demps and rainey and moody at RB...Offense should be explosive.
I'm just not sure how well we will fill in the D

Obviously I'll eat my words...I still think that we have the talent to be much better than the record, but unfortunately we don't know how to utilize the talent. Auburn has surprised me a lot this year, I'm glad you are enjoying the success. Unfortunately, I now know how many felt when their team sucked...it's just been a while since UF has been this bad lol.

OOC games play a big part in SOS... (LSU having West Virginia early on)
alabama and auburn simply have easier schedules this year... not much more to it...

LSU has played Vanderbilt, Tennessee & Florida.
Auburn has played South Carolina, Kentucky & Arkansas.
I'd give the edge to Auburn in those 3 SEC match-ups.
LSU played UNC
Auburn played Clemson
This is a push IMO since UNC only won by 6 points at home. LSU also played the weakest UNC team of the year, while Auburn played a Clemson team who had the Auburn game circled the entire Summer.
LSU played West Virginia & McNeese State
Auburn played Arkansas State & ULM.
LSU has the edge here.
As far as SOS in concered.. LSU has 2 wins against 2 OOC opponents who are doing really good.
LSU
North Carolina is 4-2
West Virginia is 5-1
Auburn
Clemson is 3-3
Alabama
Penn State is 3-3
Duke is 1-5

you just proved my point...
those games auburn played against "better" sec teams will be void b/c of the remaining schedule that LSU has inside the SEC..
it comes down to the OOC games.. period. b/c when you're comparing two teams from the same conference.. .conference games mean nothing in SOS
auburn is closer to LSU than Alabama b/c of who they have played so far.. but alabama will also play these teams soon...
this photo is to blackack for reference.
PS... 2 of these 3 teams will be playing for the SEC title... and 1 of those 2 will likely be making a NC bid... assuming neither loses more than 1 game.
