I was watching the Oscar/Manny 24/7 or whatever crap that is earlier and I just hope that Manny lays the smackdown on Oscar.
I grew up a boxer in East L.A., I've been to Oscar's gym and I've seen him and met his dad at rooster fights. I agree with Black CLS that this fight is a disgrace to the sport.
Oscar is a smart fighter but he is also huge pussy. I hope Manny bashes his face in and humiliates him into retirement. Oscar fought an aged Chavez when he was 11 years younger, but he cant take a 5 years younger Margarito at Welterweight to put on a better show?

I couldn't disagree more this fight is a mismatch there's nothing big about it. Pacman just fought for the first time at 135 pounds and is really a 130 pound fighter. Oscar last fought at 150 and has fought as high as 160 pounds. Pacman started his career at 106 pounds this fight is a disgrace to the sport don't believe the hype it's nothing but a money grab with both fighters trying to cash out. Pacman has no business getting in the ring with a man who will dwarf him. I actually can't believe this fight is even being allowed because of the size difference with Pacman being 5'6 and Oscar being 5'11. Save your $60 bucks Pacman is going to sleep

No I didn't. Anyone who follows boxing knows that was not Oscar in that fight. He was cleary shot and affected by the weight. Not to take anything away from Pacman because he showed up and did what he had to do and I was cheering for Pac to win. BTW I'm not an Oscar fan at all I hate him. I thought the size difference would be too much for Manny to overcome but I was wrong. Hopefully this will lead to Floyd Mayweather Jr. coming out of retirement to face Pacman in superfight.

I never underestimated Manny but I will admit I thought Oscar had the upper hand and advantage. I was going for Pacquiao and knew he had a good chance but didn't think he would beat Oscar this bad. Oscar is done for. He's had his glory days in the ring and now it's time to stick to the business side of the sport. I wouldn't call Oscar a "complete" puss considering he did have the balls to move up and take on Hopkins and was down to take on fights to defend the belts when he had them. He got robbed on a few fights too. It'll be interesting to see Margarito and Mosley. The real dream match would be Pacquiao and Mayweather but that's not gonna happen.

Mayweather is going to fight the 2 most difficult fights of his career.
I think Floyd made his life hard by taking time off.
At the presser he seemed like he hadn't had enough sleep,
or like he had been partying lately. He just didn't sound sharp
I really think that Floyd is going to have a tough time with JMM.
With Pacquiao, it will be harder.
Usually fighters take time off and take a tune up fight.
Remember JMM was Pacquiao's toughest opponent.
Remember what happened when Floyd fought J.L. Castillo?
Floyd had a LOT of trouble.
If Floyd can out-box JMM and Pacquiao,
win decisions over them decisively and aggresively,
I'd be surprised and without a doubt I'd hand over the crown.
Great performance by Manny, and lets not forget JMM's win over Juan Diaz.

Floyd is a completely different level than Hatton. Floyd is just the type of boxer that will give Pac fits. What people most underestimate in boxing as well in other sports is defense and Floyd is the best in the game in that department. He won't catch Floyd with those shots that he caught Hatton with the guy never gets hit cleanly never been dropped or really even hurt in a fight his defense is that complete. Floyd is the bigger man with longer reach. Manny doesn't have a jab and against Floyd you better have one or you're toast he will counter punch the hell outta Pac. Pac and the novice boxing fan will be in for a shock when the two meet. There's a reason why Floyd was Pound for pound #1 while he was active and Pac was behind him.

They're meant for each other, they both seem completely retarded.

I hear all that Mayweather defense/counter talk. But bottom line right now your forgetting Roach and the way he analyses things and finds a weakness and right now Pacman is more mature and listening to good advice.
So my hopes are in Roach's brain and Pacman's fists.

A lot of people will look at that performance and say Pac beat Hatton in 2 and it took Floyd 10 rounds to do it. Boxing is about styles and Pac is a aggressive pressure fighter he looks to take your head off from the opening bell and defense is an afterthought. Aand while it looks impressive Pac makes a lot of mistakes that the novice boxing fan just doesn't see he comes in wild off balanced and open. He's also predictable and only fights one way going to war. Floyds on the other hand is a defensive-counter puncher who waits on you to make a mistake and jumps on it he can adjust to all styles, he looks to out box you hit and not get hit if the KO is there he'll take it but defense is first.
