Number 6 baaby in the BCS and AP! Computers have South Carolina at #3!
If the other coaches weren't so jealous of SOS, the #8 in the Coaches poll would be better.
Fine, I guess style points matter, and we are going to hang some starting with Vandy.

Scott, were you able to get tickets to the game?
God I'm so happy right now.

No, I didn't get to go, the guy I was getting tickets from didn't come through
I did watch every second of it, though
And to all the Florida fans on here:
Now to find some tickets to that game

When was the last time that UF beat Auburn? You bring up the same excuses that Bama does.. although I'll give you more credit since your NC was more recent. Go console Tebow.. he is probably still crying from the LSU loss.

What do you guys think of the current overtime format? After watching the UK game I agree that it does need to change a little bit.
This writer made these suggestions, but I'm not sure what should be done with it.
Any suggestions?

Time to improve overtime
It's time to fix overtime. College football's overtime system needs two improvements:
# Offenses should start at the 35-yard line so a team actually needs to move the ball to get a shot at an easy field goal.
# Scores and stats should not count; the winning team should just get a single point added to its score. That way, Kentucky's win over LSU would go down as 28-27 OT, and not be confused with a shootout.
Under the current system, game and season stats are stupidly inflated, and the game scores simply don't reflect the results.

I don't think OT needs to be changed, except maybe moving to the 35 yard line. Who cares what the stats are. I don't see what the stats have to do with "inflating" what really happened in the game.

Grant it i'm a hardcore Buckeyes fan my great uncle coaches for the Buckeyes football program.
HOWEVER, I think Kentucky is lower in the ranking than they should be. I'd think atleast a #5.
for LSU to lose and remain #4. is crap.
I'M Still pulling for Woodson the QB out of Kentucky as Heisman for this year.

Oh I agree...UF is no powerhouse...but then again...how many teams have a good passing game, a solid defense and can be counted on to play at a high level week to week against a quality opponent? More or less the same handful I posted.
I just think that anyone but those handful of teams would need to have something "happen" in order to beat UF...by that I mean get turnover edge, def/special teams scores or simply have UF play a bad game and them a good game. Most weeks against most teams, I'd bet on UF.
To me, the 10 best teams in college football are:
1. LSU
2. OU
3. OSU
4. Cal
5. UF
6. USC
7. USF
8. Oregon
9. Kentucky
10. Hawaii
And by that, I mean...suppose everyone plays everyone else 20 times...who has the best record afterward?

I'm not going to respond until our game this Saturday, but we should be undefeated. Unfortunately we turned the ball over 10 times in our 2 losses, and hence deserved to lose.
The way our defense is playing right now, they are one of the best in the nation. The last 3 games we have not allowed our opponents to score in the 1st half. We went down to UF, and shut out their "prolific" offense. The was done when analysts were saying that no one could stop Tebow or Harvin, but we did.
Our defense also held an Arkansas team that ran for over 300 yards a game to 85 yards. The only drive that was successful for Arkansas was their last drive, but fortunately our offense was solid and we made enough plays to score one last time.
Auburn's defense has done this without 3-5 defensive starters each game. Hopefully we can beat LSU and UGA. Both those games are going to be tough as shit, but if we pull off the wins we will be headed to Atlanta for the SEC championship game.

He reminds me of Jason Campbell, but I think Campbell was a tad more mobile, but even then not enough. Woodson is not better than Tebow. I don't even like Tebow, but he is a great QB.

O.K. we need the following wins this weekend to put the SEC East and top BCS in reach...
1) UK to take out UF. (and then lose to UT in a few weeks)
2) Alabama to take out UT
3) VT take out BC
4) Rutgers take out USF (even though a USF NC game would seem fitting)
5) Auburn to beat LSU... I'd rather play Auburn in the SEC championship than LSU.
