This must be why Texas lost to K State. Too much confidence -- no, too cocky -- going into the game.

I responded, but your pm box is full now! I was going to say that I think it will be a good game, but I don't think USC will be able to match UK point for point. It'll be interesting to see UK play in a prime time game though.

Can't wait for this game. Hopefully I remember how it ends

Seriously though, what are your thoughts on Lee? I say he chokes after 2-3 games... I think they should play the young kid.. can't remember his name off hand... he may be hurt though?
ps - florida state couldn't hang with Auburn.. or most SEC teams for that matter.

Never said we could, I know we suck. I just like to seize my opportunities to get on Florida fans when they have a loss, because it doesn't happen that often. Richardson is the other quarterback, was a red shirt but not anymore b/c he played already. We'll see about Lee. I've never seen him play this good before. I think the new coaches actually know what they're doing and are getting to him, but -- like I said -- we'll see.

Professor good game. Like I said I was curious to see if UK could play in a primetime game or if it was just hype. South Carolina played good, but the main reason they won was because of UK's turnovers. USC did play a good game though. Looks like I'm $10 in the hole... Hopefully UGA will win and we'll push on our 2 bets

The ole Swami of the college pigskin is on a roll and South Carolina is in first place in the SEC east!
Actually, I was looking at the game stats in the morning paper, and UK had more of just about everything (time of possession, rushing yards, and first downs). Carolina just had some big plays when we needed them, and the contained Woodson well enough to take away his Heisman hype.
Now the Vols need to do their sweet thing on Sat.

And yes USC did just what they needed to do to win. It'll be interesting to see how they do against @ UT, @ ARK, vs. UF, vs. Clemson all in a row. That'll be a true test of how great a team they are. The only thing helping them is every SEC team has a brutal 4-5 games in a row that will physically test each team.

Ya, it was a disappointing game last night (for uk fans=me). USC played a good game and came up with some big plays that UK just couldn't match. As stated earlier, an interception inside the apponents 10 yrd line, and a lateral that was fumbled and taken back to the house for a USC score was really kentucky shooting themself in the foot. Oh well.
Kentucky plays Florida and LSU back to back in thier house, they've got a long week off; it'd be interesting to see how they respond.

Yeah I think Cal can beat USC this year - if USC underperforms offensiveley. CALs defense is still questionable.
I think it's funny the Les Miles talked shit and he's surrounded by 2 PAC-10 teams. Of course the seasons still early and I think Cal will drop a game and 5 or 6 places before it's done - wheter that's USC or someone else we'll see.
Ultimately the way I see it, IF you're the #1 team in the country, you'll win all your games and be in position to play for the NC and win it. All this talk about a tough schedule is insignifcant unless you have a bunch of 1 loss teams. When that happens I'll have something different to say depedning on the rankings.

Our defense is, but mainly because we have our injured players back. Our offense also hasn't turned the ball over 5 times a game. Cox was perfect when I was reading his stats on espn.com & then the next play he threw an interception

If I do prevail, could you bring yourself of taking UF plus 7 1/2 for double or nothing against LSU tonight?

Give me UF and 15.5...
1) You dudes beat them in the Swamp;
2) They barely beat Ole Miss,
3) All of the SEC Home team are blowing out the spread this weekend, and
4) I need some incentive to pull for UF when South Carolina is leading the division.

O.K. the Swami was hoping to run the tab-up and stick the vig to you.
Oh well, in all honesty, I can not believe the score differences were as big as they were in both games.
