Look at who they beat. NOBODY. Almost lost to the niners, MIA (the 1st time they played when MIA had TONS of injuries and I mean TONS) and Buffalo.
Buffalo spanks them this weekend.

The Cubs choked (AGAIN), my beloved Arsenal of the English Premier League not only lost their win streak (cheaply, I might add) but lost 1st place, the Bulls are 0-2, and the Blackhawks are just lucky not to be playing, because they suck. The Bears these past 2 weeks are my only pride and glory.
But honestly, why not take the draft pick
.. because they're gonna go 11-5!

That play was the best. I was looking the Rams' sideline after that play.

Erickson is a lame duck coach. Management knows this team doesn't stand a chance so they gave them a coach thats about as hopeless. When they do finally turn things around I fully expect Erickson to be fired and blamed for the last few years.

Erickson is not cut out to be in the NFL. I was irritated yesterday when it was 4th and 1 and he sent out the FG kicker...just to call a timeout. And after that time out, he decided to go with the FG anyway. A wasted timeout....that and other things that have happened this season has irked me...yet I still sit and watch them lose every week. *sigh*

The Jets WERE having a good season.
Ralph Wilson stadium has a funny way of bringing teams back to earth.
Quincy Carter? Ouch.
11/8/2004
HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (AP) - Jets quarterback Chad Pennington will miss two to four weeks with a strained right rotator cuff.
Pennington was hurt in the first quarter of a 22-17 loss to Buffalo on Sunday when he scrambled up the middle for a 12-yard gain. Rather than sliding, he elected to dive ahead and was hit from the right side by linebacker London Fletcher, who forced a fumble.
Pennington continued playing, but his arm started to stiffen and he left the game in the fourth quarter after talking with coach Herman Edwards. The conversation took place after Pennington's last two drives ended with an interception and a 13-yard sack.
Former Cowboys starter Quincy Carter will start Sunday against Baltimore.
``It's always kind of interesting when they go down,'' Edwards said Monday. ``Quincy came in and did a good job. That's why we brought Quincy here, if something should happen it's good we had foresight. He's here, he's played in a lot of football games, now he has an opportunity to play.''
An MRI exam Monday revealed the strain. Pennington started rehabbing immediately to regain the strength in his arm.
For the second straight year, the Jets (6-2) must play without Pennington, who signed a $64-million US extension before the season started. Last year, he broke his left wrist in the pre-season and missed the first six games. Without him, the Jets struggled and finished 6-0.
``I look at Chad, I feel bad for Chad,'' Edwards said. ``But the good thing is he'll be able to come back. That's the great thing about it."

All that matters is who's dancin in the SuperBowl and I'm guessing it will be T.O and McNabb doin the dancin.

I dont understand why TO thinks his method of trying to "fire up" people works so well. McNabb should have bitch slapped him.
And you could totally see on that all he was saying was THROW ME THE BALL, THROW ME THE BALL

I guess it really shows the character of other players that TO's been around. I think they just blow it off like a child throwing a tantrum. But its still
Im all for firing up your team (a la Ray Lewis), but TO just goes about it the wrong way...Quite annoying...
But what do I care, the Eagles can eat a big fat one. GO CHARGERS! :cheer:

"Wannstedt To Resign"
"With his team at 1-8, Wannstedt was expected to resign Tuesday, according to reports late Monday from ESPN's Hank Goldberg and on the The Miami Herald's Web site and two South Florida television stations. A third TV station, WTVJ, said Wannstedt already resigned.
Before this season, Wannstedt never won less than 9 games with the Dolphins.
Wannstedt met Monday night at the team's complex with owner Wayne Huizenga, who confirmed an announcement will be made Tuesday."

Worst week in the NFL ever, both my teams lost. But, that doesn't mean there still won't be an all Green and White superbowl!!! The eagles should rebound nicely from the whoopin they took, and the Jets are still a pretty tough team. The AFC East divisional race should be a good one.
J-E-T-S Jets!, Jets!, Jets! --------------------------> E-A-G-L-E-S EAGLES!!!
