Probably not. If Ricky Williams played, they would have won at least a couple more games.

He's lurking around out there, but i don't think that the Dolphins would be a good situation for him unless they finally get a QB, new front office and some talent on the offensive side of the ball. There are a few NFL teams that are interested in Spurrier despite his experience in Washington Its certain that he will receive another job offer, but with the caveat that he brings along a more seasoned crew of assistant coaches.

I almost consider him another Pete Carrol.

They already have their QB of the future! He's Feeley!!

Seriously, is Shottenheimer something or what? If the Chargers keep going like this, he's my coach of teh year.

NOOOOOOO...

I really dont know what their gonna do. I think if they make the playoffs, they HAVE to keep him! But they already gave Rivers a boatload of cash, so it looks like were gonna be the Bungles next year

I'd rather be the Bungles than the 49ers. hehe

Anyway, I believe Charger's management F'd up! SI analysts and ESPN analysts talk about a QB needing 3 years to fully mature and understand the game. David Carr & Joey Harrington were afforded that luxury and their teams did not bring any one in to challenge them at QB. Meanwhile Brees did not get that luxury (prolly because the other 2 had HUGE signing bonuses)

Yup, its a mix of management and fans. The Chargers have sucked so bad for many seasons, so everyone is out looking for a quick fix. I dont think Brees ever got a good chance to settle in, manily because of our bitter taste from the Leaf fiasco.

Hopefully mgmt does the right thing this time. Faders, Chiefs and Broncos coming up after the bye, should be intresting...

As if the Chiefs needed any more injuries... FOX 4 news here in KC just reported Priest Holmes out for Sundays game. D. Blaylock will start. Look for L. Johnson to get some carries too.
