The 49ers DYNASTY as we used to know it, is no more. First shutout since 1977, I wasn't even born yet! I hang my head in shame...and my co-workers gave me an earful this morning. ugh.

I have a feeling my 49ers are gonna be the "Bungles" of the new millenium. I've heard stories of our owner being REALLY cheap...so I'll hold off my judgement on this guy until we clear some room on the cap and see whether or not the team will spend on free agents or stay cheap and sit on the extra cap room.

I shed a tear for the greatness that was the 49ners. This was the franchise that every other team in the NFL tried to copy. This was the team that Jerry Jones studied closely when he took over ownership of the Cowboys. This was the team that everyone wanted to play for. And now this is the team that the York family is turning into the Arizona Cardinals and Cinncinnati Bengals of the NFL. Someone has to do something and fast.

It's always a good day when the Broncos are 2-1 (should be 3-0) and the Chiefs are a pitiful 0-3...

Now, I need to get a hold of the Raider tickets...

I'm really in a bind when I think of the Eagles. A part of me wants to cheer for them since I'm a big McNabb and Andy Reid supporter. But another part of me hates Terrel Owens. So I guess I'd like to see the Eagles win with T.O either not contributing or riding the bench. But then again the Eagles won't win if T.O isn't catching any balls.

And another thing. Why does Brett Favre act like he just threw a TD in overtime of the SuperBowl whenever Green Bay scores. Its getting if you ask me.

He loves the game, and I love watching the guy play. Its like backyard football when you were ten, whenever you throw a TD you celebrate like crazy...WoOooO!!!

We used to do the Icky Shuffle and the electric slide...ah...back in the elementary school football days.

Ya, he's acting like he was 10. Its fine to celebrate but he runs towards the sidelines with his arms in the air and jumping like they just won the game. Totally uncalled for IMO.

To demonstrate how bad the owner of the 49ers is, he just sold the naming rights to Candle Stick Park to Monster Cables, Inc. So our freaking stadium is going to be called Monster Park???

http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news?slu...ball&type=lgns

At least sell the naming rights so the stadium name sounds a little better....3Com Park was ok, but Monster Park?

The new name is rather appropriate, as it will help remind fantasy owners that they should be scared away from most of the Niners offensive players. It should also help owners remember that opposing players are likely to have monster games against the Niners. Okay, this is lame and we know it. We're just doing our best to get you warmed up for all of the cheese ball jokes that the new name is sure to inspire

Junkster, it is a damn good day, but how long can this day last if we dont have a short yardage back? Q is just too damn small to get er done on 3rd and 3 or less. Isn't it about time we tried someone else during short yardage plays?

BINGO!!! My thoughts exactly. I wonder what Shanahan thinks of Mike Anderson's exhibition season injury now. What a dumb ass move to have him playing special teams at the end of a meaningless exhibition game.

A lot of coaches have done bone-headed things and lost players when they put them on special teams...but shanahan must be kicking himself right now, especially a pre-season game!

Remember how Jim Fassel ruined Jason Sehorn's career by making him return kicks, and then he got hurt on his first one? He was a really good & fast cover CB before that, now he can't even pass a physical to play safety for the injury depleted rams.

And Butch Davis....what the hell were you thinking putting in Kellen Winslow to try to recover an on side kick with only 6 seconds left....??? Moron!! Fathead!!!

Sehorn begged Fassel all the time to let him return kicks.

The rejuvenated niners are going to lay a licking on the Jets with last weeks NFL offensive player of the week Tim Rattay.

And thanks for the SF pic J, it will make a nice Avatar.
