Eli Manning is available on waiver in my league, now I had to pick up kelly holcomb cuz both Tom Brady and Delhomme were on bye. Now Holcomb doesn't seem like a bad QB since he did get me 2 TDs, no INTs. But brady and delhomme are also viable fantasy starts. I need to drop a QB if i want Eli, which QB should i drop for Eli?

Hurry...drop Holcomb and pick up Eli now! He has a much better upside than Holcomb!

The Jets suck so bad it makes me ill. WTF is going on. Even with the unfortunate QB situation they should be better. And to think they almost got their own fancy stadium in Manhattan????????? Let them play in the Superdome!!

Hey fantasy Guru's

It looks like im pushing through a trade of Drew Brees for Corey Dillon. Thought's? Its not too late to cancel it.

Im hurtin for certain at RB, thats why I want Dillon. NE has got Buffalo this week and the Bills have let up a ton of yards on the ground this year.

With that in mind I will start

Brunell
Dillon
???
Ward
S. Moss
TJ Housh
Gates
Den - ST
CIN - D

These are the rest of my RB's, I need to start 1 more, man I wish Julius would heal the fawk up

RB - Julius Jones - DAL
RB - Tatum Bell - DEN
RB - TJ Duckett - ATL
RB - Willie Parker - PIT
RB - Edgerin James - IND

I think the trade would be fine, but Dillon has not had the greatest year thus far. I agree though that he should do well against BUF.

I would start Willie Parker. He is coming off a big game and going against a BAL defense without Ray Lewis and Ed Reed. Also, the BAL offense does not keep the defense off the field so they will be fatigued.

I like Parker too, but the Bus always gets the goaline carries and I would be starting 2 Steelers (Ward/Parker)

What are your thoughts on Marion Baber?

I think you will be fine starting two Steelers. Yes, the bus gets a lot of goal line carries but Parker should still have a big day...especially against that D. Marion Barber is not your answer.

DA BEARS!!!

Hey NYC/NJ people, I've always wondered, do the Giants and Jets represent a certain "area", like the Yanks rep Bronx, Mets rep Queens, Cubs rep Northside, etc..

also, is there a big intercity rivalry between the 2? the media really plays a lot of it down if there is any; i've never seen any "hatred" being expressed from 1 side to the other.

The Jets and Giants really share most of the areas (however, there are a lot more Giants fans then Jets fans). There is actually no real rivalry between the both mainly because the two rarely play each other (if at all except for pre-season). There is actually a lot of love between the two (me for example would like to see the Jets win the superbowl second to the Giants).

Now the Eagles / Giants is a different story for NJ......

Norris Division...He's alluding to it like how the NHL used to call its Central division.

From the McNabb thread:

You, sir, need to learn about the game of football. Don't you think the Eagles D, or lack thereof, had something to do with his bad game? The Eagles are so bad at running the ball that they don't even try. Instead of just blasting McNabb, try to understand why. The Broncos D just came after McNabb with a vengeance.

haha, yeah, that denver packer ending was hilarious.

I don't know why everyone is suprised about McNabb.

When a defense as good as Denver KNOWS you're going to pass the ball 99.999% of the time, you're bound to fuck up! Nice job eagles!

Go Cowboys!

I am glad you made the move...I thought about that post after I saw his stat line! He had a good day, but I still wouldn't bet the bank with him.

Yeah, im not banking on him for the future, I just really needed a back this week. I had Dillion and Bell on the bench too I started Parker, but I already won my game (thanks the A. Gates ) so it irrelevant.

I understand not wanting to start Bell against PHI after they destroyed LT...but you did not start Dillon against BUF, the worst run defense in the league

I know I know.....here's the thing. I could not get solid information that he was for sure going to play. I traded for Dillon last week specifically so I could start him against the Bills. Also I was golfing Sunday morning so I couldnt watch TV or surf for updates. I knew for sure that Barber was playing. It all worked out in the end for me....phew.

Potential Trades

I am thinking about trading Caddy for Plaxico Burress or Byron Leftwich for Isaac Bruce.

What do you think?

I LOVE dumping Caddy for Burress. The Bucs are highly over-rated IMHO. I like Manning and company to absolutely torch the niners. Is Bruce back? Who is your other QB. Im not sold on Isaac and it may be nice to have Jax playing Houston this week for Left-over'which. If you can hold off I would. Look at Jax upcoming schedule

@ Bal
@ Tenn
@ AZ
@ Clev
@ IND
@ SF

There is some solid oportunity for scoring in those games. If you make the playoffs in your league, having Jax vs SF in week 15 may be pretty valuable. Plus K. Curtis
is immerging as a solid #2 in STL and they are on bye this week.

Yes Plax
No Bruce

My QB's are Peyton Manning, Byron Leftwich and Kurt Warner. Bruce will be back soon from what I have read. I am very weak at WR so that is why I am trying to acquire some brand names.
