Wow so quick on your research it looks like you do not interpret statistics very well, go back to nfl.com and look again....but this time under time of possession look on the column that says TOP. I believe it says Jacksonville 31:23 and New England 30:53

so yea the Jaguars do hold on to the ball for a while, and they are I think #8.

The 'Skins stadium was on the edge of the ghetto in DC for years and they always sold out. Now they moved to Maryland, to Prince Georges county which has something like 190 murders this year. FedEx field is the only nice spot of the county; seriously. Yet every game is sold out with the highest ticket prices in the league.

Maybe that is because the Skins have HISTORY, and the Jaguars are a 10 year old franchise that hasn't been to the playoffs in years?

Doesn't matter they still have HISTORY,

Not to mention THERE ARE 2 OTHER FLORIDA TEAMS ALREADY THERE BEFORE THEM. MEANING NORTH FLORIDA LIKES TAMPA, SOUTH AND CENTRAL LIKE TAMPA OR DOLPHINS.

Meaning that doesn't leave many to like the Jags when they've been loyal to the fins or tampa years before.

Dude, stop being retarded.. The Steelers played the Jags this year so obviously I saw them on tv.. I've seen them play.

I'm not just going on stats.. Becuase their stats look good.. It's just the teams they've played have helped "pad" the stats..

One game doesn't mean much,

I've watched almost every one, the only game they weren't close was the 2nd indy game and denver, arguably the best and 3rd best team in the league. Trust me, they can keep up with the Pats.

And if they have the best D-Line in the NFL then why does it rank 12th in Rushing Yds / Game?

I've had that before the season even started, they arent the best but are in the top 5. Defensive linemen arent the only ones who need to step up to play the run, dont you know we've had donovan darius out pretty much for the whole year who is excellent in run support? Besides Ayodele hasnt been to great this year, although Peterson has been outstanding and Daryl Smith has been solid

Read what I posted above, its not all defensive line that stops the run game.

If the defensive line can't stop the run and thus relies on the secondary that says a lot about the defensive line.

And Indy gave up only 18 sacks this whole season, Pats 27, and the Jaguars got 3 in one game vs manning.

Jacksonville has only allowed 29 and many were early in the season before Khalif Barnes was starting

Also the Jags got 2 on Cinci whose only allowed 20.

We don't use Freddy for TD's

thats Greg Jones and Toefields job. And we don't use Freddy for receiving out of the backfield, we use Pearman.

Im tired of arguing, bottom line is the Jaguars deserve to be in the playoffs, and can compete with anyone in the AFC regardless of what anyone thinks. They match up with NE very well and are 5-0 vs 3-4 defensive teams this year. I have no doubt the NE will be a great game.

NFL games for teams other than your local teams are picked up by local interest. For example, here in south FL we have a lot of transplant NYers so they play a lot of Giants games. Sometimes they'll show a big game like Indy/Seattle because of obvious interest. We'd all probably see more Jags games this year if they lead their division and was playing another powerhouse. Sometimes the station might fuck up and show a Saints/Lions game though. It has nothing to do with sellouts. The sellout rule only applies to watching a game within XX miles of the stadium that must sell out 48-72 hours before a game. However, most of the time the station playing the game will buy out the tickets to ensure the ratings.

D-Line isn't 12th ranked, you can't rank a Dline based on their rushing rank, wow
I thought you were smarter then this. Your stats have been wrong this whole time, I have to keep correcting you. Thats pretty pathetic.

You screwed up with the Jags losing to the Jets, you messed up Time of possession, you think that a 12th ranked rushing team means thats how you rank a Dline, you start talking about how the Pats dont give up many sacks, when I showed you the Jaguars sack any team no matter how many they give up.

Never said that, the bottom line is the Jaguars match up vs the Pats very well, and after the game I don't want to hear any excuses from you guys, as the jags roll onto round 2.

In order for the Jaguars to beat the Colts, we woud have to play our best football, I don't think that will happen. However I think the Colts>Jaguars>New England.

I'll tell you this much, if the Pats get passed the Jags, when they play Indy it's going to be an embarassment, probably another 40 point game for Indy versus that pathetic secondary (which according to you all isn't really that bad) but they are ranked like 28th in passing defense, so explain that.

Sorry that the Ravens that we blew out, just beat you guys to blow your chances of getting into the playoffs. I love how you chime in and take everyone else's side when in Minnesota you don't even see Jaguar games.

Not only that you keep saying they suck, but can't back it up with any information.

Get the fuck out of this thread until you can actually talk football, instead of sounding like a 5 year old saying the Jaguars suck!

Jaguars do suck. Sorry. I really can't find it in me to give them any respect.

And why are you so worried about the Patriots? You come in out of nowhere and start flaming them but all you have to offer in return is a mediocre-to-poor Jaguar team in return. Weak.
