Define meet spot...

Staging is near Ballantyne, so anything down there is closest. University area is about 15-20 minutes away, as is SouthPark area. Airport is about 30 out (although at that time of day, it's probably less). Ballantyne and SouthPark are the nicest areas, then University, then airport.

C&C is at Northlake, so anything there is, well, duh. University and the airport are about 10-20 minutes away depending on where exactly in the airport "area" or University "area" you are. SouthPark and Ballantyne are about 30 out, again, most likely less due to no traffic. Northlake area is between University area and Ballantyne/SouthPark for niceness.

Lunch is who knows where. I don't think it's been nailed down. I vote for The Flying Saucer in the University area (unquestionably the best beer selection in town), but everything under the sun is up that way (Northlake/University area).

The actual meet is who knows where. My guess is it will either be in the University area or Ballantyne.

Sean - are you coming to this?

Vinny - when you come up in December (I know not for this), we need to get together and hit the Saucer.

Don't know anything about that. The Promenade...across from the hospital? The top of that deck might be empty. It would be close to C&C and tons of restaurants.

I think they were thinking about the Promenade in South Charlotte - off of Providence and I-485, down the road a couple miles from Stonecrest. But I haven't read through the whole thread I do not know if it has changed

The only Promenade I know of is across from University hospital. I scanned page 59 and 60 (info for this meet starts on 59), and didn't see any location for the meet mentioned. I'm assuming this south Charlotte Promenade is the place we went last time?

Pretty stupid to have two shopping centers named the Promenade, if you ask me.

This is the only one I am familiar with as well. It's literally right off of 485 on Providence road. Then again I'm almost never in the University area.

That parking lot is a little too much like a maze if you ask me. There have to be better places. Why not the parking lot of one of the office buildings in Ballantyne office park? Easy access to 485 and should be wide open on a Sat morning. Assuming no one is acting like asses you will not have a problem if you are just using it as a meeting point.

Thanks. I just got the Rotora BBK on a little over a week ago. I teamed up with Marcus at HeelToe to test fit the kit on the 2nd gen. As far as I/we know, I'm the first and currently only 2nd gen TSX in the world (at the very least in the US) with a BBK installed.

Check out the thread with pics: https://acurazine.com/forums/2g-tsx-2009-2014-143/putting-end-rumors-questions-will-answered-748254/

i have the same kit installed on my 1st gen. be carefully when driving through puddles, these rotors may warp if going from really hot to really cool. anyways, they stop consistently better than stock and are a blast to scare passengers with as well!

performance oriented or not, all cars could benefit from such an upgrade

Doubt I'll make it out Friday night since Saturday is going to start so damn early.

The Flying Saucer has the best beer in town, good food, and usually a live band at night. The Wine Vault and a couple of other places are just down the street from that at University Place. That's about it. All of the clubs/it spots are downtown.

Guess she's not coming. Understandable, I suppose. Just don't use our next meet as a cover for heading to Vegas for a long weekend
