BTW, your S2000 is beautiful... would love to swap out my EP3 for one similar to your spec.
Maybe one day, the TL is the project car taking up all the spare funds at the moment, haha.

Thanks for the kind words! It's basically stock compared to most out there When/if you get one, you won't regret it. It's phenomenal.
Added a little rice to the Accord 2.0. Lol! Love how it looks tho. Gonna install the Hondata next week. I'll dyno it next month to see what the power is.
Agree 100%... 400HP to really get noticed outside the Honda fam. To keep price down and without an //M or RS division to lean on, my guess is 365hp/380tq for a reasonable output. Being a 'performance' based engine, hopefully they tune it so peak power is at the top of the range and not the now common lower powerband of turbo'd commuters. No one wants a sports sedan that stops screaming at 3000rpm and starts to taper off with a 6000 redline.
Well, I was close ... 355HP / 354TQ 🤷♂️
Not upset with these TLX-S numbers, but not really excited either. If they took care to develop a beefy engine then this should be plenty reliable in stock form and handle some upgrades nicely.

You know how Honda/Acura are. They're subtle when it comes to power numbers and they like to be an all around great car. Don't really need 400hp in a stock car. I'm not disappointed but I thought they would do better on numbers. But their competition is around the same HP wise. From what has been said. But I'm going to wait and see what they do on the dyno. Honda under rated the 2.0t and 1.5t and come to find out they're making more than what was said on the window sticker. Let's see what a dyno says.
In other news. Picked up a set of wheels for the Accord and test fitted them today. Lol. Love the fitment. Just need to get some 245/40s for them. Zedd 19x9.5 +30 offset. I gotta clean them up. Couple of them have some bends on the lip and one has a slight crack that can be fixed.
I was leaving the neighborhood yesterday and there a nice white modified accord at the light. It had some led turn signals with rolling amber and some louvers on the rear quarter window.
Hey, what are you using for a camera? It's putting out some nice pictures, esp in low light conditions. Been thinking about getting a new[er] DSLR lately. I have an old Rebel XTi that I haven't used in forever (hahaa... so old!!), my P2XL prob takes better shots than it does at this point.

That's gonna be awesome!
I'm using a Canon EOS RP. I was looking at getting a full frame camera but I didn't want to pay $1500 for a used Mark II or III. The EOS RP just came out and was $1300. Full frame, 26MP sensor, and much smaller than the Mark II or III. Glad I got it.
What's up guys, im looking for a good shop to do mods\upgrades to my 04 tsx. Does anyone have any good recommendations?
Sorry, I don't know of any as I do all my own installs/repairs... that's where the fun is.😀
Depending on your area of town, I am sure that most any repair shop will install a mod as long as it is road legal. Just check Google reviews to get an idea of reputation and people's perception of the quality of work. There are a few performance shops around town (mostly Euro focused) but I do not have any personal experience with them. I hear good things about Queenspeed CLT, but again no personal experience.
So I finally found the fitment I wanted. 19x9.5 +35 offset. I bought these two Aodhan DS08s just to test the fitment. Plus if they worked out like I wanted, it would be a crazy steal! But sadly, doesn't seem like I'm going to be able to use them. Definitely not gonna be using the tires. Lol.
So now I need to scower the web looking for the perfect set of wheels. For the time being, I have some 25mm spacers sitting in the car. Gonna install those possibly tomorrow. Gotta get rid of that gap. Lol!

Those wheels look nice, what is the reason you won't be able to use them? Too much poke?
I finished installing the RV6 PCD's this weekend. Had to pause last weekend and wait for a replacement front lower cat stay bracket to arrive, I didn't realize it was broken until I went to remove the front cat and the bracket came off in 2 pieces. Surprisingly Priority Honda had a cheaper price than Amazon or another online dealerships because of shipping. Those jokers quoted me Net price on the phone and tried to charge me List when the part arrived... I questioned him why the part was $3 more than what I was told on the phone ($5) and he didn't have an answer and just re-rang it back up for the lower price. Not the first time those guys have been squirrely with me in the parts dept.
After the first few drives I don't like them very much. The car is so freaking LOUD now... which I expected it to get louder, but I wasn't expecting this much of a bump in volume. Was hoping my XLR8 catback would combat some of that expected rasp, but it did not (not sure what I was expecting, the XLR8 kit is pretty much straight through as it is). If it wasn't so raspy I could deal with the smell and additional volume, but I don't want to screw up the sweet notes of my current exhaust setup. Feel like I went from a symphonic exotic sounding setup to an obnoxious boy racer rasp bucket.
Gonna give it a shot for a while, but currently it is so raspy on hard acceleration I don't want to give it much more than partial throttle. I'm still on Ktuner basemap Tune2 so need to flash one of the ones specifically listed as "for PCD" to see if it makes any difference in cleaning up the new weird rev-hang and some other small drive-ability things that popped up. The weird slight rev and exhale on low speed shifting is super obnoxious when driving through my neighborhood... sounds like I forgot how to drive stick.

I loved the design of the wheels. I think the tires(stupid Hankooks) are what threw off the look for the fitment. I plan to just stick with my original plan of Forme 9s/ESR SR08s in 19x9.5 +35. This I know will give me the fitment I want. I've been trying to find some other wheels in that same spec but I can't find any with a lip and/or design I want. Lol!

Sorry... end rant/
I figured the PCD would cause it to be loud and raspy. Another reason I didn't want to go with them. PCD are good if you either have stock exhaust or plan to track your car. I've yet to hear any cars with PCDs and it sound good TBH. The tune isn't going to change the tone. I would go to high flow cats instead of PCDs. Worst case, just add a resonator.

Ha, awesome. That's pretty much what I would want to replace my wheels with. Same size fitment 19x9.5 +35 and with some kind of LIP... seems all these wheel companies have gone OEM flush style with their designs. I don't know if it's because cast wheels with a lip are too weak or what. Flow forming is only for the barrel, so they are basically in the same boat, but a RPF-1 style lip is just about perfect IMO... 😊

You are 100% correct. The tune did clean up a little of the weird off throttle shift noise (not a pop or backfire, but more of a decel tonal change that was somehow louder than light accel), but I lost that exhaust note that I loved so much. I'm not trying to build a track car or race everyone I see on the street. I just want a sweet sounding big sedan with a manual, which is what I already had. The addition of the 3.5" K&N intake really took the car as far as I could hope for, plenty of power and even more growl now with the intake. I guess I was trying to hold onto the notion that one day I might pull the trigger on the GBP Rotrex kit, which needs the PCD's to fit in all the other piping. I think I'm done with the power mods. Will probably end up trying to sell the PCD's to pay for the front A-spec pieces to go with my side skirts. I could add some Vibrant ultra quiets to my exhaust to kill the rasp, but I don't want to mess with with the XLR8 sound as it was.
Oh well, I tried them... not my taste. 😁🤷♂️

Upon further inspection, I think the 19x9.5 +22 will fit. I've looked at other fitments with this car and those same specs and they seem to fit good. It was the tires that was throwing me off. So I've decided to go along with the Michelin Primacy MXM4s like I have on my 2020 Accord. I Might go with some Toyos but not sure how 235/40s would look on a 9.5 and I don't want to waste money on tires not knowing how they'll look.
Hopefully you're able to find a solution for that rasp soon.
Should have come here a while ago but my 04 manual TSX needs a new transmission and it is not worth it to me to spend that much money to fix it or replace it. So I will be selling the car, it is stock besides excedy clutch and act streetlight flywheel. Does anyone know if it will be better to sell the entire car or sell it by parts??

Be honest with you, best bet would be to sell it whole. Save yourself the trouble. Too much to have to worry about getting rid of the shell later.
Beautiful photos and the accord is really look great with those wheel spacers. Are there any sensors in that plastic in front of the intercooler? When[or if] I get that TLX, I plan on dremeling out that plastic grid.

Thanks! Next year I might look into getting some wheels. Still going to go with some 19x9.5s just a little lower offset.
With the 18+ Accords, they have the sonar in the front lower part of the bumper. The Tourings have the parking sensors in them. Not sure about the others.
WHEW! Beautiful cars gentlemen. I love that lip on the accord. A couple times last year i would emerge from the gym to find a yellow s2000 on rpf1s backed in beside the lexus. I havent seen that it all year though.
Awesome pictures guys, I'm really missing my old DSLR... anyone want to offer their photog skillz and meet up for a colorful leaf shoot somewhere around town?
I'm always snapping cell phone pics, sometimes they come out nice... haha. Here are 2 from this morning before the rain hit. Rare occasion going into work to pick up a prototype up so I thought I would take the opportunity.
Hate that I didn't get the 2nd pic fully focused before I snapped it. The separate 5x lens on my Note20Ultra is really good, but you have to wait that extra second for the software to switch over to it.

Thanks man! Love the TL! Let me know when you can meet up. I might be free next week.
