Caffeine and Machines at Hendrick Acura tomorrow morning!
Longtime Lurker
Hey everyone, I hope you are all well!
I recently scored the Front Underbody Spoiler, Aspec Front Lip kit, whatever it's called, and installed those pieces along with the lower sides that have been sitting in my garage for almost 2 years. I do love those Amazon "last item remaining" discounts. I'm not a fan of the 4GTL '12-14 rear lip kit pieces, so I think I'll stop here with just the front and sides.
And true to form here is a grainy grocery lot picture, seems like I only have time to snap a picture here or at work. Was considering selling this beast, but this has breathed some fresh air into the car for me. Love the way the pieces improved the aesthetic.

I had a chance to take Susan [TL] on Tail of the Dragon this past weekend, good thing I made the effort to go on Friday because it rained the rest of the weekend. Man, this beast did not disappoint and neither did killboy!! Big ole girl drove like she was on rails with only 2 small whimpers from the Sumi A/S tires. The last time I drove the Dragon, in my EP3, my crappy tires were crying in every corner, hahaa!
Cherohala Skyway had some great views also.

TOTD is a blast, though I haven't been there in over a decade. I need to make another trip soon.

Thanks guys.
You will love it! Plenty of gorgeous scenery and great roads around the area. If heading there from Charlotte taking I-40, US-74 west is kinda boring... I would recommend taking 74 then jumping on the Blue Ridge Pky heading north to US-19. US-19 is a little rougher of a road but it's got more mountain twisties heading west. Plus Soco Falls is right off 19 near the BRP.
Be sure to inspect your brake pads and top off coolant to be ready! 😁

Alive and kicking just not on Azine lately lol
But sooo many memories just came flooding just by posting in this thread. Definitely miss the Acura meets and occasional beers with members and friends.

Maybe if our Regional Coordinator would coordinate something other than broken cars in his driveway @CCColtsicehockey

With how long he plans his house projects, I look forward to having the next Charlotte AZine meet in 2029

Remote start over a clutch???
Burning Brakes
Comfort. Lol. I like to come out to a warm car in the winter mornings and a cooled car in the hot summers. Lol! I'll take that over a manual any day.
Now if I could, I'd have a 2nd car and it would be a manual. But daily? Nope. Auto with remote start. Lol

Alright well damn I didn't realize there was still this large of an active Charlotte/Carolinas contingent on here still.
2029 might be too soon though so maybe we better plan for 2032.
Seriously, though I would love to put together another get to gether together the way we used to do them. Can't do TacoMac anymore unless you all want to drive to ATL haha.

I will likely come down for this one just so we can crash the Porsche Meet as well afterwards. It is too bad there can't be an Integra there though. I do need to go drive a new TypeR as they do excite me and next year would allow me to part a 20 year newer Honda sports sedan next to my TSX which would be cool.

So would anyone be down for maybe say the Acura / other Hendrick Meets on June 10th. Then after heading to somewhere, maybe GoPro, for some Go Kart action?

Basically all at the same time there is the event at Hendrick Acura, one at the Porsche dealer, and one at the Lambo dealer. You can park at Acura and walk to all of them. They are all on the same side of the road. Last time I went down I stopped at Bojangles on the same side of the road and picked up breakfast. Then went to Acura to park.
