OK, speaking of tickets... anyone have a lawyer that I can use to fight one in SC? Don't really want to fight it, just want to plead it down so it's all fines and no points. I thought by now I'd have a mailbox full of solicitations but that was July 4th weekend and I haven't received a single one.

Ticket was in Gaston, SC area on I26. Court date is August 12th. I don't have to appear but obviously if I don't and just pay, I'll get the points, so rather not have to deal with that.

Thoughts?

Nice looking car, what are your plans with it? I have always liked that body style 4 runner.

Thanks!

Yesterday I did some electrical interior mods: hardwired my radar, added dual USB ports, double din headunit and installed my JL W7. and drew up plans for a storage box for around the sub.

But my plans of right now are 3 inch lift ( can't figure out which one or how much I want to spend on that) and I'm gunna run 285/70/17's and get some wheels at some point just have to find a style I like.

I need to add a tow hitch. I was looking into aftermarket steel bumpers but I just found out my friends boss can weld me together one for around $250 so I'm definitely going to go that route. might do a 20" LED bar on the steel bumper and a 50" across the roof on a full size roof basket.

Looking at headlights and taillights but that'll be farther down the road

Sounds like a solid plan, I really like the method wheels and the company I work for has our own brand of wheels and lightbars too

Home ? Toyo Racing Tires

Are you doing a front bumper too? The pro comp lifts are pretty cheap and well made. Have you been to the 4 wheel parts store in charlotte yet?

Sup bitches long time no see, hope everybody well. I don't feel like looking through million pages since I left off. So I'll talk bout me,

First went to montreal for formula 1 in June, went to strip club every night (best strip clubs Evers, never ever going to an American strip club either, VIP dances for 8$ plus u can touch if u know what I mean) got hammered, and got a nuru message (Google it) lol

Then bought a house in highpoint so my teacup poodle can run around in my 1/2 acre lot.

Missed all the car show n meet that pass by, cause I'm poor after house. Recent projects include painting the deck, landscaping, removal of popcorn ceiling redo master bath 80% there. And a bunch of randomness once I get more money.

The tls has been the same since I last checked in it probably more Durty lol, just love driving my is250 more than the tl. Plus been looking at a white 2010 bmw x5 M lol got my wife drooling.

My airride going to put for sale need to re up after paying for my classes. Aviation mechanic shit ain't cheap. Also my work xd9 or rota p45r will be too which ever sell first. So if anybody interested you can hit me up here or Facebook. I'll post pic later once I figure out what to upload.

lol Max that's awesome. Strip clubs and nurus ftw.

Congrats on the house. What color is the deck and what kind of plants have you planted?

well the deck was a ugly orange/brown color, we got bher deck over paint it gonna be atlantic blue, plant wise were looking at plants that make vines or useful plants like citronella plants. I'm still cutting up bushes and tree branches so haven't played with plant option.

Yeah I like the method wheels too and it looks like you guys have some great stuff. Can you get any sweet deals on those lightbars and wheels? I can't afford retail lol. i just think I might hold off on wheels for the time being until I get suspension and tires and everything else situated before i pull the trigger on wheels cause I feel like thats going to be one of my biggest expenses other than tires and I'm not set on a certain style yet.

I am definitely going to do front bumper since my friends boss can build me one for $250 which is a fraction of what offroad companies charge and I'll be able to tell him how I want it for cutouts for a lightbar and a winch mount and foglights etc.

And the pro comp lifts are definitely a great system but a bit out of my price range I'm still researching what I want to do for a lift tho cause I'm still a broke ass college kid and trying to get the best bang for my buck and for what I'll be using it for lol. So far I've got it narrowed down to either the rough country leveling kit with rear struts or blisten 5100 struts with fj cruiser springs all the way around, seems like a lot of people go this route and love it I just need to price it all out and see what I can afford.

I haven't been to the 4wheelparts in charlotte I just got back to raleigh today but I'll try to get down there next time I'm home, I actually think there might be one here in raleigh.

So the guy that bought my wheels sold them to another s2ki member, and the new owner posted some pics I thought were pretty cool:

Put my lift and spacers on the 4runner last night, gives it a whole new look I love it. Took about 5 hours and a couple cases of beer and a lot of cursing but we got it done lol

Yes definitely, I was waiting to do the lift first but the rears are cupped really bad and the fronts are crappy too.

I think I'm gunna run 275/70/17's instead of 285's I don't want to have to worry about rubbing the body mount and having to chop it down and weld a plate over it as I have no experience with that stuff and sounds scary

Here's a better picture after I took the running boards off today it looks even better IMO

Thanks! Been talking to my dad about tires lately and hopefully within the next 2-3 weeks should be able to scoop a nice set

What year 4runner do you have? From what Ive been reading the older 4runners are awesome to modify and run as crawlers they whoop assin comparison to jeeps and other comparable off road vehicles.

But I totally understand with the s2k mods on the mind. Someday I'll get a smaller sporty car again but for now the 4runner will last me a long time and fulfill my needs.

^I've got a 2000 4Runner (N150). It has 260k on it, and just keeps on going.

If I were to modify it, it would still be for the aim of being primarily a street vehicle with a few added capabilities.

So, I've seen a couple of modded Acuras in LW lately...anyone claiming them?

1) Black TSX, Honda and Euro R badges, what looked like a CT exhaust with a crooked left muffler, smokers things over the windows, knot thing on the rearview, stupid low, improperly sized wheels with a step lip, improperly sized tires, NC plates, heading towards Gaston county. Most here would think it looks great. Very clean.

2) WDP 3G TL, lowered, wheels, black roof. I know, not as descriptive, but I only saw it for a few seconds today going the other way while I was sitting at a light and was more focused on other things. From what I could tell, it was cleanly done.

Well ladies, the wheels are estimated to arrive on the 25th.

Here's hoping I can get everything mounted up and ready to go by september C&C. Probably not, but here's hoping.

Picked up a new lens for the camera this past friday. Its a canon EF 50mm f/1.8 stm. Its great and my shots are super clear. I used it in some of my shots for Barnie's RSX but mostly used the 55-250mm, its my favorite.
