It was a pretty decent one, but I'll say not the best I've been to.

The 991 GT3 presence was real though... the red one there was my favorite!

I was going to bring a RCF again, but all day Friday on multiple channels said that there was a 80-90% chance of rain in the morning, so I bailed.

Anyone know of a good place to get clear bra done? I want to get it on the inside rear door jams of the Vagon so the dogs don't scratch the paint.

Somebody make note, I was up at 8:00 AM . 59*, windows open, doing several things before the game, then washing the car after. The only thing that would make it better is not having to work tomorrow.

Tons of exciting stuff, Tyler...I reflashed the nav for the hack update and updated the maps . Oh, and I'm taking it in Tuesday to have it reflashed for an airbag software recall. Seems the settings for the side airbags are too sensitive and minor bumps can set them off. Yeah, exciting stuff around here LOL.

Now that the weather's becoming reasonable, I'll be adjusting my rear subframe one last time. Other than that, loving the suspension. I might tweak the caster and the camber in the front at some point, most likely when I get new wheels. On that front, the wheel search has become very frustrating, and I've dealt with it by saying "fuck it" at the moment. I'm not very patient. I also have a couple of non-car things in my life that are becoming frustrating, so I've been focusing more on remedying those as opposed to the car.

By the way, does anybody have $100 worth of gift cards to Target, Gamestop, Best Buy, or Amazon that they'd be willing to trade? I have a $100 pass to giftcards.com, but they don't have gift cards to any of those places, or anywhere else that sells something I want at the moment. Their list is impressive, just not very helpful to me.

Made some progress with the 4runner over the weekend. picked up some BFG A/T KO2 275/70/17's and I love them they fill out the wheel wells a lot better. and plastidipped my chrome door handles. Also installed a 30" light bar in the front bumper.. Sorry to bore you guys with non acura stuff but the regional sections on T4R.org are pretty dead and I'm bored.

Picture of the light bar to come tomorrow. This weekend I'll be doing the satoshi grill mod.. very similar to the sharks tooth grill on the TL's. I really want to open my headlights and black them out but I'm still terrified

Baking headlights and taking them apart sound terrifying at first but after a couple times it's not too bad.. Make sure you unscrew all screws to make it easier before putting in oven, Lay Cardboard, preheat to ~200 F, set headlight in for about 15 minutes, get gloves and a flathead screwdriver and start prying slowly! If it gets a little more resistant (aka sealant cooling/hardening) put it back in for a bit. Be patient and work diligently.

Might as well do a projector retrofit while you're at it!!

Lol I know i know I'm just terrified I'll mess something up then I'm out another $300 for headlights and I can't afford that lol.

I'd love to do a projector retro but thats just not in the budget, I miss the TL headlights so much these crappy halogens give me about 3 feet of light and then darkness.

Thanks! i've got a coupe other things in the works that i'm saving up my food money for lol. Going to change the fog lights out with LED pods, get some HID's,a full size hitch mounted tire carrier, I really want a full length roof rack but thats wayyy out of the budget right now. and a 40-50 inch light bar across the roof and then I might be done, but at the palace I'm at right now it could be done sooner than later minus the roof rack. but the list of small things is extensive

4Runner looks great! The grille mod and wheels will be perfect. Are you going to black the grille, too? Headlights are easy. If you're worried about the oven, use a heat gun.

I worked a lot last weekend, from Friday night through Sunday evening. Only breaks were going to dinner with friends Saturday and watching the game Sunday. Got a lot done, so completely free for the foreseeable future .

And since we're sharing washed car pics, although I took this three days later, not three minutes later LOL

I really need to get a keyhole cap. The keyhole mod was easy and super clean on the TL. And while it's easy for a Charger, it's not as clean. Still beats the silver dot, though .

Thanks! Wheels will probably wait until christmas or later. I did the grille mod yesterday, it took forever and cut my hand in a million different places lol but it looks decent the mesh was extremely difficult to work with and i didn't have the proper supplies to make it work in my favor but it looks alright. I'd give it a 7/10 because the corners aren't perfect and theres one part where the mesh separate from being bent so many times but you can't really see it, but eventually i will redo it the right way so the mesh bends in my favor and sand it down and hit it with a better coat of paint because something already got on the paint and theres a couple sketchy spots but you can't really see them from far away but yes I painted it black. I'll post some pics of it tomorrow after it gets a washing

and the headlights... i don't even know why I'm scared but i just am lol. Probably cause i would hate to not seal them back properly and get condensation on the inside when it rains and then be scared to do it again. I'm sure Ill get bored over the next couple of weekends and take on the task I just need to do more researching on it first. I've been researching way too many things for the car and not enough for school.

i'm also going to remove the door handles completely and paint them with spray paint too because the plastidip is already starting to peel on them. I'm guessing it's because the dip on the top didn't meet on the back side with the dip on the bottom so every time I put my hand on the handle it peels up more

Well, looks like no go for October for me. Our series sponsor just announced a money race for October 3rd separate from our season championship. They did this in July and I just showed up with my kart, spent no money on it (old tires, left over fuel from last race, etc), and ended up with $200.. so I'm going to try my luck again.

So maybe I'll make it for November

The weather for this weekend sucks. My first weekend I don't really have anything planned and I was really hoping to take the TSX for a nice long cruise. Sunday is the only hope if the rain can get away after Friday and Saturday.
