Going to raise the front to match the rear one of these days...was going to be today, but I'm starting to feel lazy. All of the old school muscle car guys I know love the rake, but I prefer level. And I know what most of you are thinking...lower the rear to match the front. Don't get me wrong, I love how the front looks; however, when I get wheels, the tires will be equivalent to the stock 20's or larger. I'll lose a quarter inch of wheel gap with 20's, half an inch with 22's. The front does make 18's look good, though.

Thanks, Tyler. Who knows. The original plan was to get them this year, but all of the ones I like cost a small fortune, so if I get any of those, it'll be next year. Not that I couldn't get them this year, but I have more responsible uses for that much money. I still can't get over how much wheel prices have inflated over the years.

That's why I've kept the A-Specs for so long

But in all honesty, I've had them for so long that I can't see the car having anything else. I liked test fitting Eric's RE30s but the A-Specs just seem to fit the car. I think I'll get rid of the car before I get rid of the wheels.

How many miles are you up to now? Any other mods?

I looked at the RE30s when I had my TL. I loved the weight, but wasn't completely enamored with the style.

14,600. I'm farther from work now, so instead of ~7k/yr I'm looking at ~9k/yr. Still low miles these days, but I preferred the 7k.

Mods are minimal at this point...aFe intake, Solo Mach XL exhaust, Moroso catch can, black chrome grille, BC Racing coilvers, Hotchkis sway bars, SPC camber kits (front control arms w/ adjustable ball joints and rear bushings). I also removed the spoiler (still need to get the holes patched ) and about 50 badges. Only things on the horizon are wheels, headers, and a tune.

Hope everyone is doing well!

Furious 7 was full of explosions and ends with tears.

Go Duke.

Tyler how is life in the new house?

Jack, the charger is looking good.

Home ownership is great! Tiring, but great. There's a never ending to-do list, so we're trying to find a good mix of enjoying the house for what it is and truly making it our own. We still need to paint the kitchen and I'm redoing the garage as well.

Way too many. Between Mitzi and I, probably 25-30 times. Our first day we bought the largest amount of stuff. Since then, it's just returning small stuff and buying other stuff. We'll be returning later this month to get some patio furniture and a grill

Hopefully we'll have a housewarming party next month once everything is set up.

Sounds like the 'adult life' is settling in well for you Tyler!

Where is the house in reference to Charlotte and Lexus North lake?

So this Friday is my last day at my Wheel and Tire Distribution Center. Got an offer 1.5 weeks ago for a Cell phone company for handling cell phones. Repairs, shipping and handling, marketing and a whole bunch else with career opportunity.

The benefits and the $$$ offer was too good to pass up.

So next Wednesday I will be starting something new.

The goal is to pay the Acura off by Xmas this year. If this job holds true, I should be at $0 by December 25th!

What is everyone doing on April 18th? Saturday night get together?

Thanks Stephen!

The house is way down in Monroe off of Goldmine Rd. About 38 miles one-way to work It'll be an easier commute once 485 is complete near the 85 interchange. Not an ideal drive but the house is worth it. Plus Mitzi has a shorter drive so the miles on her car won't accumulate so quickly.

Congrats on the new gig! I hope it treats you well

I work every Saturday and rarely leave on time. The last few nights I've been leaving well after 9 Plus I still don't have the TL back. Once it's mended and returned, I'll try attending more local events.

Thats over by Airport Road. I used to take that route home from Discount Tire in Monroe when I lived in Tega Cay. Thats quite a drive to work. Put those miles on the loaner!

Much appreciated. I genuinely didnt want to leave my current job because I enjoy the people I work with and its a solid job. But money is money.

This is a load of crap. It's truly unfair and by now its getting to be disrespectful. Really shows how unprofessional a dealership is when its not in sight of a customer.

Yep, very close to Airport Road! I take Rocky River to Lawyers to get on 485.

The whole situation with the car had nothing to do with the dealership. They are on my side; they think this is absolutely rediculous. The claims adjuster that I was given to was a POS. He would ignore my e-mails, phone calls, and not reply to voicemails. It took over 3 weeks to even have the car appraised, and due to his neglect, another 4 weeks to have the car picked up. The ONLY reason why that even happened is because I contacted someone higher on the food chain than him and he got the ball rolling.

The car was damaged on Valentines Day and work is just being started on it. Estimate was about $2200 to replace the fender but the shop wants to see if they can use the existing panel and just pop it back out. I know the guy handling my car at the body shop and I trust him to do the right thing. It just sucks that it's taking this long.

I don't mind 42mpg and regular gas in the ES Hybrid though I change cars everyday but I typically go for the ESh. I was able to take a RXh while we moved and that was fantastic.

Save that address for when we have a housewarming party. We are getting patio furniture and a grill hopefully next weekend.

My favorite purchase when we got our first house was the grill. Not sure why, but that was the one purchase that made me feel like damn, this is really happening and I'm a homeowner.

Congrats on the house Tyler.

Eric love the pictures as always.

Jason good seeing you at IA.

Jack, havent seen you in ages it seems. Sonny's soon!

Havent been to a few events in the area for ahile now. Havent been to a UNCC meet since Jan, and missed 2 cars and coffee in a row as well as cars and clouds. My car refuses to run right. Replaced the power steering pump twice and so far its running strong, only problem now is Im running super lean and misfiring cyl 3. Swapped the coil packs and spark plugs from cyl 3 to 1 and still had the same problem in 3. At this point Im hoping its just a bad injector and I've got a replacement one coming. I havent done a compression test yet and the engine runs fine but idle is really rough and running super rich. Im hoping to have it done by Saturday (or Friday night would be ideal) and ready for Cars and Clouds.

Rain Guards and HIC Spoiler Installed. Car looks amazing now.

Just need the dings pulled out of it and I will be happy for a low, functional, daily driver.

Well bros, finally got Jeanine a car. And it's awesome. Is it bad that I'm jealous?

It's a MY12 IS 350 F-Sport, blk/blk.

I only really have the dealer photos at the moment:

Yeah. Probably because I haven't been to any events for a while either . I keep thinking I'm going to make it to C&C, but no such luck. Maybe May...hit it up before Carolina Rebellion .

Ironically, I have been in your neck of the woods the last couple of weekends. Every time I'm down that way I wonder if I'll see you or Eric. Never do, though .

I could do some Sonny's .

They are the Char-Broil Professional (or Commercial, can't remember) from Home Depot. We have a 3 burner and a 4 burner.

Bought both down here and they work as well as they did on day one

Just a heads up friends, I'm selling the wheels on my car. If you know anyone looking for some 17" RPF1, lmk.

Was good seeing BK & Eric+Dorthy this past weekend. You guys got me excited about HDay!

All depends on how quickly I can sell the 98 Civic Coupe and my current wheels and diffuser.

If all works out, that could very easily end up being the plan.

Unfortunately, no. I just can't like that wheel unless it's the concave face, and to get into that territory the specs you have to run are ridiculous. I'm just not looking to have to do that much body work. Even the S2 face is 10mm more aggressive than what I have now, and downsizing to a 245 tire I'd still have to run more camber than I am now. No ty.

Frankly, I think that's a big reason you don't really see that wheel on the s2000 very often. It's kinda sad cause I love that wheel a lot
