It'll be a cold day in hell before the Monroe bypass is done ![rofl](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
That would really help with traffic on 74 though. It's horrible right now

Tell me about it, they've been buying property for the past 20 years for it all over Union Co. , then some activists freak out about some yellow bellied green eyed earth worm that the construction may hurt.

I've been a good citizen and haven't driven between the cones to get on the new 485. A few times I've really had the urge to just because I'm a rebel. I did notice the new 70mph sign they put up down here in the Pineville section. So I guess the entire 485 is 70mph I'm assuming. Which means we can go 80.
I was driving home last night and when I saw the sign I looked down and told my wife 'holy fuck I'm driving BELOW the speed limit look'! I was going 67. But I'm not sure if it's still considered a work zone with the cones being on the side of the road.

If only they would now raise 77 to be 70mph to go along with it.

Shoot...forget 70. They need to just raise the entire thing to 80. Texas style.

I just spent some time on ncdot's website and the 485 section from rea rd to 74 will begin in 2017. They're basically going to add a toll lane in each direction.
The 85 widening project will be completed December 2017 which is kind of soon so we can expect construction to begin in the coming months. But when I looked at the project map there will still be a 2 lane section that's about 3-4 miles. Seems kind of stupid.

When I was commuting on it somedays I would sustain 85-90 mph mostly because it's so damn long.

So my always reliable TSX has decided today it doesn't want to start. The battery is brand new as of two months ago and shows 12.5 Volts. I know a lot about the TSX but I am not very much up on the engine and have zero clues of where to start besides maybe the starter.

Side note, any good/reputable shops down here other than dealerships to take our cars? Would rather not take it to random places like NTB/Meineke if or when something goes wrong with it if I can't fix it myself lol. Back home had tons of car friends, down here...not so much yet LOL
Loved the Mustang, by the way. Still can't get into the 2015s, though.

Good times. I'm assuming you tried jumping it, even though you said the battery had power.

I have tried using my jump pack and that has not helped at all. I went and picked up a starter a little while ago but have now not wanted to put it in since I want to spent time with the pups before I head out of town for work.

485 is amazing. It saves me 14 miles and about 20 minutes round-trip.
Great shots as always Eric!

Thanks Jack. Yeah there was quite a variety of cars and wheel setups there. Something for everyone to enjoy. It's neat to see all the variety people bring to an event like this.

When the starter started going out in my TL, it didn't make any noise whatsoever. It doesn't try to turn over, it just doesn't do anything. I would turn the key and it would just be dead silent, no beeps, moans, or groans. Then, try again and start up perfectly. Something to do with the coils or magnets inside the starter getting worn I think. Got a new one @ Napa for $87, easy fix. Not sure if that's your problem though. Maybe check your battery connections, starter relay, etc..

Looks like this got skipped over... but C&C stands for Cars & Coffee. It's a monthly meet (typically the first Saturday of the month) at Mattie's Diner in the NC Music Factory.
I hope I'm in town for July's b/c that is usually one of the biggest turnouts of the year...
