Hello, I live in the O.C. area and I don't even know where to start with tinting, so I was wondering if anyone had a tint shop they'd recommend? Also, is $600 good enough for a decent lifetime warranty tint?

haha 600 more like 250, and you should be able to lower that if your good with sales

 

You can get 3 cars tinted for $600 where I got mine done. Shop around. I'm sure you can find a cheaper spot.

 

I just had my car tinted last week for $250 (not in OC, I live in L.A.) non-metalized.

i went to Alpha Tint near Autobacs.

 

there is a good tint shop in Temple City, CA
called Pro Tint
and its at the intersection of Rosemead Blvd and Broadway ave/st
got my tints done there, they are super friendly and does the tinting fast =]

 

$600 is in the ceramic tint ballpark. i went to perfect tint in santa ana.

 

I got mine done @ Xlnt Tint in Anaheim. They're the only place around me who carries Hüper Optik tint. It's the best tint you can buy, ANYWHERE. It cost < $600. I paid $555 for mine, but that included a fee for removing my old tint. It's the best ceramic tint money can buy.

 

250 for mine with lifetime warranty and windshield.

 

I'm also looking for a place to get mine tinted. Anymore suggestionsd? I'm located in that same area. O.C.

 

I'm in the Mission Viejo or Irvine area if anyone has suggestions.

damn ya all got jipped i got my car tinted for 125 here in NY!!!!!!!

 

I can get my salad tossed by a tranny hooker for $25.

Or I can order a mail order bride for $1500.

It's all about quality my man, and yes, there are many different quality window films.

I've done tints on my cars & it's between 230-275 if I remember correctly ...

 

I went to the same place, they charge $475 for Huper Optik for my TL, and mention citysearch.com for $25 off.

Huper Optik is the best tint you can possibly buy, and xlnt is one of the few places that knows how to install it.

i just got my windows done in my challenger today for 160$ and he offers lifetime warranty. it was in san bernardino. he did a GREAT job and the windows are crystal clear.

I just tried to contact them, they didn't pick up and the corporate girl tells me they don't do auto, just residential.

 

Yeah, so I decided to do it at Signature Tinting in Costa Mesa. It was 180 dollars for the whole car excluding the front windshield. The tint I got was llumar ATC, just came out two years ago. There was a lifetime manufacturer's warranty and they put their own shop's warranty on top of it, which includes replacing the tint if we accidentally scratched with our seatbelt or something like that. So yeah, I recommend this place. The owner, David, is a very nice guy.

But what's this I hear about our acura tl's not coming with moleskin or something and that leads to our tint scratching when we lower our windows? Anyone have any problems with this?

the only place I go and will ever go (and have probably honestly sent 50 people to) is The Tint Pros in HB....awesome work....$600 is WAY TO MUCH

 

im in nyc too and i paid that for thw windshield normally its 125-150 depending on the car
