hey Al, will a P.C.D. (pitch circle diameter) of 10 x 100/114.3 with an offset of 42 fit any Acura models? If so, which ones? Also, how many lugs is it? Thanks.

Well I guess, the only gain I'll notice is probably the 2lbs of weight reduction with a lighter cam, but I guess I'll just stick with the lighterweight IM for now.

My plans are going to be;

Lightweight pulley
Lightweight battery
CF hood (color matched to the TL anthracite)
Type-S IM
Racing brake two piece rotors (each rotor is 6lbs less than stock)
Racing Seats

That'll probably save me 130lbs or so.

Item you would like fitment verified: I have Axis supermesh (similar to penta) 19x8.5 45mm offset with a 235/35 from my 06 5AT sitting in my store room. What size spacer is best, and what bore for hubcentric?

definitely try the washer method.... sorry I didn't post a reply sooner on this thread just been busy with acurazine member exhaust installs

no idea I would stick to 5x114.3... unless that was a typo and you ment 5x100/114.3 in which case it fit but it will have a whole bunch of holes in the center

The double stick tape that comes on the lip is not suffice, go out to your local autozone, strauss or pepboys and get some real 3m double stick tape, that will hold it on there

2 different tire choises
245/40-18
255/40-18

Gap Cutter... Install 10mm spacers on all 4 corners, that will make the wheel gap slammed shut

I have installed the wheels and they look pretty wide... I am scared that when I lower the car that they will rub inside the fenders. So my question is, do you think I will have a clearance issues if I lower my car (Eibach prokit, stock struts) with these wheels and tires? (I did not get a response in your wheel/tire thread so I thought I would try here)

I thought you wanted to close the wheel gap... spacers and wider tires do this real quick

235 is good for 8" wheel, 245 and 255 are better on a 8.5"

some believe spacers are bad for numerious reasons... but if the spacer is hubcentric you will be fine

yea with the spacer it will close the gap by putting the wheel closer to the fenders...

as for tires, when you go bigger on wheels you get less sidewall.... soo unless you went 225/45-18 it wont be any different you know.... so go wider to close the gap

You'll have to test fit the fronts... Likely-hood of requiring a spacer is high

Shame-less-plug: I have 2 pairs of spacers in the blackmarket for sale.. A 10mm and a 13mm pair

Test fit method: get a bag of washers measure the thickness, usually they are 1mm or just above 1mm thick.. Put 5 washers on each wheel stud and test fit, if it clears, you'd likey need a 5mm spacer... Continue the method till the wheels clear

^^^^YES it will, However the type-s comes with 4 bolts and 3 clips. There is no template for it, since this is considered a part and not and accessory. Some people here use double sided tape. Any skilled body shop can installed it with bolts.

I know 19x8 will fit, but i am looking at getting the wider wheel. I know the 245/35 tire will fit, but will that be stretching it. Should i go to a 255/30 or 255/35 tire.

245/35-19 is not a stretch on a 19x9... 235 on the other hand is definitely a stretch

255/35 will throw the speedo off so you'd want to run 255/30... also as an alternative just in case you'd live to go even wider 265/30 works also...

I did a lot of math and it looks like the 245/35/19 is about 11mm taller than the stock rim tire setup which is not even 1/2 inch. I just wanted to make sure that the 9" wide rims would fit the front.

I am really considering getting these wheels and the company i am getting them from will not guarantee them at that width. SO if they do not fit right, i will have to pay to sent them back and get new ones. They have a +40 offset. How much, if at all will they come out past of the fenders.

They will not comeout passed the fender

19x9 +35 fits aswell... You have an extra 5mm to play with so that you can roll on the tires of your choice

I am guaranteeing they fit

On one condition... Pm me cuz I wanna see pics of how hot they gonna look on all 4 corners.. 1.75" lips or 2"???

according to the manufacturer website we are talking about a 3" lip. With the chrome lip and black gloss spokes i am sure these will look great. As soon as they are on, be rest assured that there wll be pics of me putting them on and the car sitting on them after i am done.

i plan on dropping it around the end of sept begining of October. So it will still look nice but when the drop happens it will look sick. I hope that camber kit goes well . I saw that it was for a TSX, but hopefully you will not run into any problems and we now have a new choice for a camber kit.

Since this is a fitment thread I will take that as a fitment question

Yes the wiked tuning rear camber kit for the 1st gen tsx fits the 3rd gen tl... In fact it allows more adjustibility than the ingalls camber kit (only reason why I bought it.. That and it was $40 cheaper)

Would you happen to know 100% if the right part number for the honeycomb grill for the 07-08 TL-S rear bumper is 71504-SEP-A20ZA? I've emailed Tim at hondaacuraworld but I haven't gotten a response from him yet. Thanks in advance.

honda/acura e-store shows 71504-SEP-A20ZA as #56 which in fact is the rear lower mesh

Item you would like fitment verified:

I bought a set of BASE 2008 TL Wheels for winter use on my 07 TLS 6MT.
I'd like to know if they will clear the Brembos in front without spacers. If not, what size spacers will I need to get and where from?

Fits without any modification required... You'll have about a credit card thick sized amount of space which is all you need...

If you are semi good at retrofitting it will fit and additionally you'd want to use base 07-08 lower grills will make ur car look just like an 07-08..

Alternatively you can put the fogs on then put the type s front aspec kit and you will have no fitment issues
