Item you would like fitment verified:
2007+ TL-P (base) bumper fitted with:

1. TL-S CHROME upper grill (bassically swap out the silver one for the Type S chrome one)

2. Honda Accord Fog light Housing (it seems to small for the oem fog opening??)

3. my 2005 Aspec fitment on the 2007 BASE bumper

1. should fit, I will have a better answer in a couple days as my neighbor's grill got backed into by an suv and he went ahead and got the black chrome pieces from the type s and will be installing them... they look the same size to me...

2. it may work since the 07 fogs are behind a grill

3. nope, the fogs are angles so you'd have to trim it... not worth it imo

Item needed to be verified for fitment- What is voided in the factory warrenty when adding CAI, upgrading the exhaust, or suspension? And what is the 07 type S fog light bulb code (I have been to many auto parts stores and they dont know/dont have them) I am wanting yellow bulbs, any ideas where to find them?
The dealer has to show the problem is caused by the aftermarket part
For CAI... hydrolock or parts removed during cai install are not covered under warranty

Exhaust... is bolton... so if you keep the factory exhaust in ur garage it still has a limited warranty against defect...

suspension... very touchy... if you would like to keep ur warranty, have the dealer install it for you (you will overpay but it will be paying for piece of mind)

Fog light bulb - h8...
yellow bulbs

04-06 Front will not fit any 07-08

04-08 sides are all identical (only difference is they added a couple of colors and got rid of ac ouple aswell)

04-06 rear is identical to 07-08 base (only difference is they added a couple of colors and got rid of ac ouple aswell)

07-08 Type s Rear fits all base models but requires some modification to the openings

Lastly if you want 20" wheels
you need the offset to be in the range of +35 to +45 for a 20x8.5 wheel, and in the range of +32 and +45 for a 20x9 wheel

should you want to run staggered if you are running a 20x10 in the rear the offset must be above +40, if you are running a 20x9.5 you might get away with +38, if you are running a 20x9 the offset has to be above +35

wilwood bbk will be available shortly for the accord 7th gen which fits tsx and tl... retail under 700....

aside from that the only other route is to get the tl type s auto factory brembos and throw them on your car... there aren't any other cheaper caliper upgrades...

ps... you could go rice and paint those hehehe

AHHH i know that's my most simplest option but that would be the FIrST real ricey thing i've done to this car!!!!

haha what woudl you do al;

so i either spend the money on:
fixing the scratched up window/door panel from some assholes who tried to jimmy my car (this involves replacing the front passenger side mirror and the black trim that sits right on the bottom sill) + the screw hole on the front of my bumper (bondo job) + touch up AM paint job for all the small places.

OR

clear headlights and get a BBK

yes I was off... how about have your insurance company fix the glass since you are covered by glass... and as for the black trim it is very cheap from the dealer... as far as lil blemishes on the bumper... they can wait... get bbk

Al here is one for you-

I read a post of yours where u state you can make anything fit. Lets put this to the test.

Base 07-

This what i have come up with so far-

Type S fog grill on a base. From the center of the bumper to right before they get to the Fog cover, they are identical. U cant reverse them because the slant on the center of the bumper wont match up pushing them to far out and not fitting properly. Ok here is my theory. a combination of the typs fog grill and the base fog covers. The problem is getting a smooth cut on that plastic. I try that with a dremel and shit fuse and melted... then again it was my first time using a dremel. What do you think... you be coming up with some crazy solutions.

Can this be done.

The base a-spec supposly could fit on the type s and some one got it to fit.

the type s lip can be forced to fit over 04-06 and 07-08, simply with a little cutting... since it is a mask over the entire front....

as far as the fog light grills... what exactly do you want? you want the mesh area from the type s behind your foglight grill? for something as simple as a grill I would hand cut it with a pair of big wire cutters... cuts the plastic like butter... let me know if you want me to do it for you

Not so much a fitment question, but since you seem to be good at research, can you come up with the following info?

1) Spring rates for OEM, ASPEC, H&R Sport, and H&R Race springs.

2) Spring rates for H&R, Eibach, and Megan coilovers.

Thanks.

Sorry about that...forgot you wouldn't know what I meant by OEM...base 5AT. ASPEC = 5AT. If year makes a difference (doubt it), 2004.

In my defense, I found all of the spring rates I could; these were the ones I couldn't find. I can see Honda not publishing their spring rates (although you can find them online for Civics and s2k's), but an aftermarket suspension company? And if by some odd chance the OEM/ASPEC are in the service manual, let me know where as I sure as hell couldn't find them in there.

Thanks.

WTF? I could've come up with that . I thought maybe you had some sort of inside track. Hell, I even told you that stuff wasn't online.

Just kidding. I'm in one of those moods today, so don't mind me...I need the weekend. If you can get the OEM and ASPEC specs, that would be great. I'll call H&R and get their info.

Yes of course... Requires some minor cutting of the opening but it is very doable and has been done in many occasions....

Accord fog sedan retrofit is a total pain... Worth it.... Very... Take your time... mock it up after every small cut... The more you cut the more the light fits flush... Very time consuming, and not for the fain of heart

Keep in mind you should not use hid kits on those housings because they are not made of glass... The plastic lens' will warp

What do the factory Brembos go for? The previous owner painted his calipers red and I'm not a fan.

I have a 2003 TL-S, but I like the seats in the 2008 TL. I was wondering if the seat from the 08 TL would fit in my 03 TL. Let me know. Thanks.
