I think your best course of action is to either get all 4 swapped or minimum the fronts alone (if you swap the fronts alone it could alter your vsa/abs system)

I have another wheel fitment question.

2005 TL 6SPD
Brembo Brakes
H&R Sport Springs (1.4"F & 1.3"R Drops)

Looking at getting the ADR M Sport
18x8.5 +35 245/40/18 on all 4 sides

Will they clear the Calipers? And is there going to be any rubbing?
Thanks

they appear to clear... quick search on pics show that the spoke design appears to be brembo compliant... worst case a 3mm spacer would put you at the brink of barely clearing fender so you'd have to negative camber your wheels... but I dunno it looks like it clears...

hey stillhere, i hope you don't mind answering this for me. but offset affects the amount of lip on the rim right? But if the lip is the same, then it just changes how far the rim is pushed left or right in the wheel well?

The lip width is determined by 3 factors
Wheel width
Spoke Design
Offset

Certain wheels are concaved causing a smaller lip, other wheels are flared causing a large lip... The offset also comes into play as some wheels are design for big break caliper clearance, these three factors come together aswell as the main design of the wheel to provide either a small lip or a monstrous lip... Finally the wheel width is the main characteristic for the lip as an 8" wide wheel will never provide the lipage width a 10" wheel will

Item you would like fitment verified: 07-08 Headlight housing on a 04-06. If yes any modding required. Also does the 07-08 housing have the bi-Xenon type lighting as the 04-06. (low and high beams in the projector) Or will this have to be transfered from the 04-06 housing.

100% fitment verified by bforbrian & ua6spec

The only difference is the blinker bulb size... Projector does not require modification last I checked...

Projector doesn't but the ballast is different. Will have to be custom mounted because the bracket and clips do not fit.

Item you would like fitment verified: 07-08 colormatched Splash guards, will these fit on the 04-06?

Is there any additional hardware needed to install them?

I know that A-spec requires removal of them, but if I only installed the front and rear lips any possible way to keep them on?

They are the same from 04-08... Only difference is the part numbers for the specified vehicle color

As far as aspec installation and keeping the mud guards? If you don't install the side skirt you keep the front splash guards.... The rear aspec replaces the rear splash guards....

Enjoy

I apologize from steering away from the normal routine, but, what do you mean by different blinker bulb size and for fiz what type of custom modification do you mean, you can PM me if you would like.

Hey,

I ended up getting the Aspec rims. Would you still recommend 245/40/18? Would these tires rub (at stock height ATM but planning a 1" drop)? Why not 235/40/18s to stay closer to the stock diameter?

Thanks again!

go with 245/4-18 for a little bit more lip protection

the fronts will clear with a 235.... the rear will stickout way passed the fender, if you run 225 tires it might not rub if you roll... and with maximum camber you will be reducing ur contact patch by more than 75%
for purposes of force fitting these wheels i would say no

http://www.menzari.com/site_MSC04_msport.htm

possibly clears fronts 20 x 8.5 +35 at worst requires a 3mm spacer... 5mm can be used for an aggressive fit with some camber and 235/30-20 tires

you cannot go staggered for rears without rolling the fenders...

good luck

ok so i realized the rims are

20x9 +31 front
20x10.5 +31 rear

Will the fronts even clear?

You recommend no? Can I just lower it right above the top of the tire and not have anyone sit in the back?

This is kind of what i'm talking about:

Do you know if the Type-S IM will bolt right in a UA6, also I need to know if I get the Type-S IM will I need to get the Type-S TB to fit or will it be fine?

Also do you know if the Type-S TB is bigger than the UA6, I don't know for sure but I think it might be 2mm larger.

Last, I need to know if the Type-S cam will bolt into a UA6, the Type-S cam is hallowed out so it weighs a couple lbs less than a UA6 cam, and its slightly more aggressive.

Oh and one more question do you think I can run all three mods with a stock UA6 ECU?

since the gasket bellow the intake manifold is the same, the 10mm bolts which hold the IM are in the same location it will bolt up no problem at all

in order to get the best out of every mod, a custom tune would really provide you with more gains... emanage blue? would be a good option imo

Are you saying same fitment? definitely not the same cam-shafts.... and they do drop in.. I upgrade the cam-shafts on my BLACKURA to the type-s cams.

Type-s are hollow core , and yeah they are lighter
