I buy my own whole beans. Not that fair trade, ethically sourced, organic crap either. My beans come from conflict countries and are picked by children slave labor, roasted over coal from endangered rainforest trees, and brought to civilization on the backs of abused pack animals.

Once I get them, I'll put them in a burlap sack made from cartel sourced blood hemp lined with silk from North Korea and then smash the beans on the hood of someone else's car using a 10-lb sledge forged from metal stolen from a medical device manufacturer.

Then I put it in my French Freedom press and use bottled glacier water from a virgin glass bottle which has been boiled until half has evaporated. This scorches the beans to make them taste bad. I let it steep for 10 minutes to extract the most bitterness.

Then I don't even drink it, just pour directly onto a homeless immigrant's crotch. His screams wake me up in the morning.

All the while, listening to Celine Dion.

The 2 cars in front of my buddy and I (single lane freeway here) had come to a full stop in a 60mph zone...apparently, there was a turn-off into a dirt road here...

My buddy slows down as do I and we go AROUND the cars...Apparently, the Albertan-like pickup truck behind ME obviously did not see me pump on my breaks and slow down. At this point of no-return for HIM, I had already switched into the shoulder to go AROUND the stopped cars. But, he was going to avoid plowing into the stopped vehicles. So, he drives into the incoming traffic lane. And yeah...the rest is in the story.

Anyways, life on the road. We're doing good. Little Cha is loving the beaches and etc. I went clam digging yesterday but came up without too much. Tomorrow, we're onto Queen Victoria's city for 2 days and 2 nights. Then, back to Vancouver.
