So Im slowly replacing my tan interior with black. I ordered a black rear deck lid from eBay so I went ahead and pulled my tan one. After during so, I noticed my tan lid has some wierd blue/green paint on it.
Then I opened my new black one and noticed it has red/yellow paint in the same place hahaha what the hell is this?!?!?
Looks a whole hellava lot like melted crayons to me.
Which I find very amusing because I was just reminiscing to myself over the weekend about kids, cars, and the inevitable melted crayons on the rear parcel shelf back in the 80s/90s.
Hardly see that anymore now that all the kids have phones/tablets/GameCube Nintendo's, etc.
In other news.. I've must have been under a rock.. where did this Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio come from..
Car and Driver is all over it's stromboli.. Horree fuck.. and a new SUV on the way.
I find it funny how CD had issues with their ARGQ.. like it wouldn't effing start, brakes would go in and out..
yet they're like eff it..

Oh that happened to me over the weekend . Coincidentally my younger daughter got her first phone the next day. She only got it because it was her bday gift. I told her I don't care if we live in the streets and she doesn't have her 1,000,000 crayon collection at home. She will NEVER bring home crayons again from a restaurant.

Where the F you been?? LoL..
Id love me some Giulia.. Car sound sexy and looks Gorgeous.
So with RAM bringing the TRX and Ford having the Raptor do you think Chevy will try and build something to compete? I mean for offroading you can say they have the ZR2 Colorado but the engine is really weak. They need to put a CTS-V engine in the ZR2.

If I were buying a sport sedan and had the money...quadrofoglia hands down.
When the quad version of the stelvio hits...its going to be a monster in mid-size/small SUVs.
The only that disappointed me about the Guilia was that we can't get the 6-speed manual in the states. I'd love to see more manual power sedans on the market.
Lets be real here.. the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio is basically going to be 30k in a few years right?!?
a la Maserati Quattroporte... wait til then
I think the Quad may hold its value really well, personally speaking. I don't believe they'll be making a lot of them when you factor in the massive price jump of the Giulia Ti to the Quad. It's pretty much Alfa's halo model right now.
I really like that car a lot, and I didn't think it was possible because it looks so good, but it actually looks better in person.. I love the way they incorporated the OEM rear diffuser on it..
On Monday, I got my first ever CEL on the Avant. Ran the code, asked my tech buddy at Porsche to get me some advice. Did some Googling and found out is the PCV Diaphragm. Bought a new one for $20 off Amazon Prime.
YouTube showed me the DIY, it took about 15 mins to change it. Cleared the code. The code had been gone for over 20 miles.

So, one of our stores just got in this '14 Stingray with some appearances mods (I think they're the same wheels as Steven's). 7MT, 3LT-option, and 14,300 miles. https://www.parkplace.com/VehicleDet...-TX/2990877953
It's... pretty tempting to trade the Z in on. Might swing by next Monday and see what they're willing to offer. Judging by the current market & guys asking $35-40K for similar conditions, I may be able to walk away from Z with little depreciation.
Just to share something that happened yesterday and i have 1 question
I kinda feel bad about the whole thing... but i know i did the right thing.
I was waiting at a light and i was going parallel with a beat up Camry to my right when the light turned green. I notice he started to get closer and closer to me, i did not have time to honk, so i tried to accelerate trying to avoid him. But unfortunately, he still got me in the rear passenger 1/4 panel and my wheel.
Then that fool did not want to stop, so i did what i had to do to get him pulled into a small street and stopped. My GF opened the door and was about to give him ( a young 20 yrs old looking guy) a can of whoop ass. I had to hold her back
He did not have Drive license (could be suspended) or insurance and the car is not even his.
The damage on my car is not bad... just some paint scrapes and a small dent on my fender. He started crying. He thought i was going to shoot him and he thought i hit him, not he hit me. i was like you serious dude? why would i want to hit a 1999 Camry.
He tried to offer me $100 and he tried everything to stop me from calling the cops.
I did not have a choice since he has NOTHING. Cop came, wrote a collision exchange report with a Incident #. The Cop told me that i could use that with my insurance. It states that the other drive has no insurance. At this point, there is no point for me to report anything to insurance.
Then, i was on my way and that fool was standing on the street waiting for his car to be towed.
Today, i feel kinda bad, asking myself if i should have let him go since my damage is not bad at all. Not even worth going through insurance. some elbow grease and PDR will fix everything.
My question, when the cop came, he did not even ask me what happened. He just took down my and his info, and told that guy that his court date and the need to get his license and insurance fixed before court date. The cop even told him that he will help him on the court if he can get everything sorted out. That is all fine with me... since i don't expect to get any thiing out of him anyway. But should he at least ask me how the accident happened? How is he going to write the police report, if he does not know what happened?

I've witnessed fender benders where the cop issued a ticket or just said you guys fill this shit out and mail it in..
not really caring who was at fault.
Insurance is the same way as well.. lazy fucks.
also.. don't lose your shit over some bullshit.
bc you might lose your shit over some bullshit.
my "uncle" got bumper tapped at a gas station..
walked up to the window of the other guy..
dude rolled his window down a few notches and pointed a revolver at him.
luckily uncle wasn't irate or belligerent walking up and just walked away
my fav kickboxer back in the day was killed on some bs too
up in San Jose / Francisco.. fucked.
I knew they didn't. Actually i was even glad they showed up in the first place. But how is he gonna write the report (since there is an Incident #) without knowing some details of the accident?
I mean if i were to report my accident to my insurance and the insurance goes request the Police report, will it say.... "BLANK"?
