Nice...
What was the name of the blue I had borrowed? It definitely wasn't that one.

but the Accord Spurt comes with (arguably) the best looking Honda wheels in quite some time... why change?

P.s. besides, those aren't chrome enough.

That's why I asked where those pictures were. Because the blue was different than what I see now. That looked like Senpang blue which is only on the 2015/2016 models.

So he emailed me back. He's very concise and to the point which is either really good for me (doesn't care) or he is an asshole (meh). Thinking the former since he doesn't know what it's optioned out with. The car is even covered under Audi Care+!!

Mrs is on board. We'd fly down and drive it back and make a small vacation out of it. Hit up Daytona Beach and our friends in Charleston.

So just waiting till tomorrow for him to grab a picture of the sticker.

Buy Southwest tickets now.

You can still reuse the value if you don't end up flying.

But you will.

Just. Do. It.

This is a red flag for me. But I'm anal about my cars.

Does he know you're flying down? That's a golden ticket for him. Because even if the car has issues, he has you by the balls. You didn't fly down to come back empty handed.

Just be cautious. You're spending 40 large and giving it to a complete stranger.

A friend texted me this morning and said "I can buy a used Gallardo for less money than what some of the NA2s are going for"

All I could do is lol.

It is your obligation to encourage him to buy it.

Just think of the lulz potential!

The lulz come from people paying absurd prices for NA2s. But, the demand is real. And people are willing to overpay.

Really? You think so?

To me I think everyone aren't enthusiasts like we are. Someone with money could have just simply bought the sexiest coupe under 80k... Or for their spoiled son and he simply doesn't remember. (This feels more likely considering it is a manual...)

That really could mean a GOOD deal for me imo. It's CPO, warrantied, maintenance package, and has a clean CF.

As options in the ad he lists
  • Leather Seats
  • Navigation
  • Premium Audio
  • Premium Wheels

Which really should mean Nappa, MMi, the Bang audio, and the wheels I like. But those are like the default carguru options not hand written. Most of the dealerships actually list off the legit Audi terms in the hand written part. His just said "clean low miles" or whatever. But he did know THAT much.

We'll see tomorrow. I'm pretty excited I hope I'm right about the sports differential.

I am just getting over a cold that started last week, the day I sold my car. Hope you feel better, H!

Chad, super nice...I vaguely remember my buddy telling me the blue on the Audi wasn't one you could readily get, it was a special color/order. Also, being that he works at the dealership he had them install h&r springs and set the DRL led bars to be at 100% and not cut off when signaling (for the amber).

Good luck, man.
