I'd be happier with an S5 over a Mustang as well though no questions asked.. Actually... S4, I prefer the Sedans over the Coupes.. just like M3 > M4

I haven't been in an S4 in a while. The S5 is a bit wider which I like.
Totally didn't mean to sound like a douchey money snob just now. I'm scatter brained today and didn't think that out.

Car is hot. The white one pic you posted is gangster. Driving the car turned me on. Just not in the way I want to be turned on everyday. Hope that makes sense.
Plus the interior left a LOT to be desired. I mean even the console was hard plastic... :/

at least you know the dash won't crack...
hahaha...
Yeah, I feel you, Chad.
Dumb question, but no way in hell would the TL satisfy your refined comfortable reliable good gas mileage needs and then the mustang wouldn't have to and you could make it a tuned tail happy dragon slayer?

Three cars though... Not all of us live in FL. The S2000 would only be used for 8 or less months a year really. One car would be outside in the weather. S2000s aren't cheap really.
I'd rock one. She'd love one.

So as promised, here are pics of the garage..
crappy pull type motor.. Couldn't wait to get rid of that POS..
damaged old door
Before crappy door buckling down the middle
New door from inside
New Liftmaster 8500 Jackshaft motor, so compact!!!
Remote light (in the middle) that turns on when the door is opened
New door with wireless keypad outside.
Got some touchups to do but this company was so great to deal with.. I went through Costco and it ended up being probably more expensive but they back and vet their contractors so I think at the end of the day, it was worth it. Spent ~$2k installed. The company is a family-owned operation and all the workers are super meticulous. They went to install the weather stripping but didn't like how it sat on the existing frame so came back this week with some 2x2 to run the length of the top header so that the new weather stripping had a little more wood to bite into
10/10 i love Costco..
12/10 love my new quiet door and extremely quiet jackshaft motor. I got them to throw in an Internet gateway so that I can use my smartphone to open the door. It can also notify you when the door opens or closes.

I'm missing it... How does it lift the door?

It rotates the torsion tube that runs above the garage door. There are two drums that are attached to each side with steel cables that run vertically and attach at the bottom of the door too.

Indeed.. It clears up the space on the garage ceiling so it is very neat #dadjokes
I was considering installing storage in that area above the door but There's not that much clearance so not sure if racks would make any sense... maybe do something with 2x4's and put up lumber, pipes, extra bamboo flooring etc..

Now I'm having doubts on the mustang. Thanks guys
If I can swing a GT350, I'll still go for it. But I think just a GT is out. They're everywhere. Literally everywhere. I looked at the underground parkade at work and I noticed 3 track package equipped GTs down there, over the last 2 days. Being a toy car, I don't want the same thing everyone else is DDing.

Let's be S buddies.
If you're looking at THAT level then get a TT-RS and put a stage 2 or 3 APR kit on it. And rape everything on the road...

S5 would be cool... but I'm growing tired of the body. 8 year production run is a long time. I'm not too particularly keen on the tail lights either. Everything else, interior as well, is awesome.

It's a shame the A7/S7 tail end looks so shitty. Because the front end is

Ok well as long as it wasn't just me. Lol
I vaguely remembered the time frame....and which house you were in...and when I couldn't find it I thought I was going insane.

polar opposites yet again!! I absolutely LOOOOOVE everything about the A7/S7!!!
but truly, as beautiful as Audi front ends are... I find their tail lights a bit lacking. Just seems like they could do more with them. I dunno. Maybe I'm crazy. It wouldn't deter me from buying one... but whenever I come across the back of an Audi, I'm like "sigh..."

Maybe the shape of their tail lights but certainly not when they are on...

I was driving beside an SQ5 today... man, that was a gorgeous looking little SUV. All blacked out, with big poppin' red calipers with SQ5 badging on them
