what's the plan?
8-10K to buddy...
direct down on the Mustang plus 5K?
Finance 20K...have $360 payment?
That's about right. I've got a bit more cash to throw at it but at 0% or whatever why? Plus I'd pretty much HAVE to buy a set of winter wheels and tires.
That's partially true, I also just never was a fan of MOAR POWAAAAHHHHHH. I prefer refinement and intelligent power.. Like Tesla and M3 over a muscle car... I honestly never looked into nor ever want a car like a Mustang. Just doesn't tickle my balls.. I'd take an s2k with less power over it.
I think if I could get the sound of a V8 out...I'd probably scratch that itch forever.
Overall, I concur too...I've always felt the steering and braking in my cars were much more precise and refined than all of my buddy's mustangs.
Might be one of those things where you just want something and then you outgrow it. I used to wanna touch Paula Abdul...now I want Kimmy K.
Okay, after some mental deliberation...I realized I was holding off on paying off blue until I heard back from the dude how much he'd want for the Fox Body. I looked on ebay and they are demanding some good money now...more than I'd be willing to pay. If he gives me a crazy low number, I'll discuss with Betty...but that's pretty selfish. Plan was to pay off the Blue car, then the remaining smaller 401K loan. Then save up for a small pool.
There's no way in hell I'm giving up the blue unicorn, nor the yellow bandit that I love driving like crazy...not over some desire to hear a V8 grumble that Johnny just gave me for free.
We owe 15 on her Cadillac too, but with 40K miles, no issues, and still looking pretty much brand new...that'll be her car for a long while. Goal is to go car payment-less for quite a few years after we pay that off. Stack that cheddar.
Also just blew Betty's mind when I explained that we need to consider doing a 15 year refi to pay the house off.
I wanna set us up for a good chill life after work.
I have some CC debt but it's pretty much paid off.
I have to stop being selfish too. I was like when I get my settlement check I'm going to buy shit for myself. No, I'm not, I'm going to put that shit in the savings account. Trying to break a milli.

Not fair, Johnny or Jeremy. Mustangs of the past are not what this new one is. It handles like a motherfucker instead of just straight speed in a straight line. I willing to bet the new mustang is more refined than an s2000.
I've driven one of the new ones, just not for me. WAY too much plastic inside.. Horribly uncomfortable and stiff inside. Rear view visibility is horrendous. It felt like a heavy boat, just like the charger I drove too.
