Giggled?
The guy is the next level funny. I like to think I'm pretty funny because I'm cynical and pretty quick witted...normally I see humor before people do, or I don't find it funny because it's too simple. Roland posts make me laugh for real...so much genius rolled up into a roman candle of jokes...just keep shooting at your brain and exploding on your face.
Pulling the SamDoe card right now, but I absolutely love the AP2 OEM suspension now that I've been through a few different setups.
It's comfortable, predictable, and still offers good performance from factory (especially paired with a thicker front sway bar & the right set of tires)
I'd be eager to try some PSS9s / Ohlins / KWV3s, but I simply don't have that kind of money to shell out.
lol, this is a thing now?
I'm a fan of the AP2 suspension. I understand that it's not moar low but compared to my daily driver, it feels like my ass is scraping on the ground the whole time anyway.
Also I'm old and far less graceful getting out of the car now.

The stock AP2 suspension isn't bad. But Bilsteins do smooth out the ride AND reduce body roll. The Bilstein damper profile is more of a curve than the stock suspension's linear plot. Its an improvement on both ends to a pretty impressive stock suspension.
The only thing that would prevent me from using Bilsteins (maybe) would be if I were driving my S2000 on salty roads. The germans seem to be obsessed with zinc plating their coilovers. Y UNO POWDERCOAT?!!

If my car needed a new suspension, I'd likely go aftermarket. I can't justify spending $1500 to lower the car an inch. All about dem priorties meng.
I'll PM you my # and let you take 'er for a spin. Maybe I can convert the almighty OEM King!
I'll hit you up, it might be tough though since I'll be there for work in our Tijuana facility (staying at the Holiday Inn bayside if you know where that is in relation to you) so I'm not sure of evening hours but if free, definitely down for a beer or ten.
Isn't your car pretty much OEM now? The only difference between yours and mine is the white pricks and about 110k miles.

Damn it, SamDoe gave me the giggles now. Damn this thread.
Beer sounds good to me, I know some some great spots nearby that we can hit up. PS, I ain't fallin' for the TJ trick again.
Shmeh, my S has light mods:
AEM V1
Comptech Exhaust
Eibach Front Sway
Hankook RS3v2s on RPF1s
Lighter AP1 flywheel
TB Spacer
Leather seat covers
Either way, I think you'll enjoy a little more grumble and a little more BWAHHHH.
Plus, the driver actually has some balls.
Shots fired!
I have two of them. They function well. Next time I'm in FL I'll show you.

What TJ trick?
I'd love some more grumble and BWAHH, it's what I want to do with my car. Going to get the UK mod done. Though the seat covers in yours definitely throw it over the top (I also want to see them in person since I want to order some for my car...)
Besides, mine is hardly OEM anymore.

I don't do ANY offroading cause it scares the bajesus out of me.
off roading is a fvcking blast and takes a lot of balls even though the vehicle you're driving is more than capable. It's a different feeling when all you see out the windshield is sky and the entirety of your weight is on the seat back and not the seat bottom... I'll be taking the Jeep here in September, super excited:
