Even worse. You got passed by a woman wearing a tennis cap with a scarf on and giant sunglasses driving a WHITE car going 0.5 mph on the "fast" lane.

Holy crap.

The door handle looks open. Production issue - another delay imminent.

I'll be downtown tonight. My eyes will be peeled.

Prototypes. Unfortunately, can't get you any pics or extra info without costing my job. Lexus is extremely strict about them. Couple coworkers said they're very nice.

I am thinking about leasing 1 but kinda hard to negotiate without a benchmark number.

I know. There is supposed to be a P1 and 918 brought by for whatever reason to benchmark. Maybe I can snag a few pics of them.

According to TrueCar, it's only about $200/month less to lease (3 years/10k miles per year) as it is to purchase ($0 down, 60 months @ 2.5%)

..... I drove a 2009 M3 6MT last night, it felt really slow - is it a really big difference if the Power mode is off? That's the only technical thing I could think of. (I didn't know to check it, when I drove it). Now, I'm comparing this to the 2011 M3 SMG I had for awhile earlier in the year, which felt plenty fast.

The Power button just changes the throttle response. If it "felt" slow it may have been because the throttle tip in wasn't as quick.

thanks for the info - I wonder what was the deal with this car. I had throttle at around 90% at 3000 rpm and the car wasn't picking up speed with any urgency.

I'll let you drive my car for the day and I promise you that M3 will feel fast as hell after that.

Wouldn't have had that chance with a 918 & gotten to experience how fast the new Turbo is.

Turbo S

On the M3 feeling slow, doesn't the car default to a lower power level? Don't you have to press the M button to get 100% of the power? Or am I mixing it up with the M5 on that feature?

I dunno. I just think some setting was different on this one. I have driven a few in the past and they felt much faster. Anyways. Prince died so this "problem" doesn't seem too much of anything anymore. Lates.
