Probably more like a base model Fiesta.

(doubt they'd lease a GT350 on this program)

From the comments on FB it seems like a lot of people don't know about the maintenance on the car.

No I'm not close to there. Manitowoc is on the eastern side of WI on Lake Michigan. I'm about 6-7hrs west of there in the Minneapolis area.

After 2 weeks of organizing, stressing, & hoping neither would sell, I was finally able to come home from work tonight with these 2 cars ready for a small photo-op together.

Damn the GSF looks awesome in USB2

The RCF looks odd without the LED headlights. Not a fan.

After seeing Jay Leno's Garage on the GT350R, I want to trade the Mustang Ecoboost for a GT350 (don't need the R) ... I'll have the Mustang paid off in two years and might be able to swing it

From what I'm hearing, it will be difficult to get a 350 that isn't marked up significantly.

The GT350 is not the crazy one. The GT350R is what everyone wants because there were only 137 2015s built. I'm pretty sure I could factory order a GT350 at list price. The Rs are simply unobtainable right now.

I would imagine that Ford will build as many of the GT350s as they can but probably limit the Rs somewhat.

I wouldn't want the R anyway so that's not a big deal to me.

Yep, I believe you shouldn't have a problem ordering a GT350 and getting it at sticker.

What happened to that member here that took delivery a month or two ago?

This is all because the first model year cars are limited production run. Wait until next model year when they build to demand and you'll be able to get one at or below MSRP.

The GT350s had mark ups as well. Buddy wanted to trade his Boss 302 for one, but refused to pay the $5K mark up, even on a '16 model that he would accept at later date. Settled on a Stingray instead for the time being.

Girlfriend has her 3-series in the shop. Dealership gave her a new 528i for two weeks as a loaner their shop is really backed up, apparently.

It's really nice. So smooth... braking, accelerating, turning. I didn't realize it was a 528i - was out of the loop but I eventually remembered that this was a 4-cyl turbo. No boost gauge, obviously. Picks up decently, has very little turbo lag. I remember the uproar over the idea of a 4-cyl modern 5-series, I think it was totally overblown. For a daily driver, it's perfect. For a pompous snob on the forum, yeah they're gonna need that twin turbo V8 in the M5

Anyway, we really like the car. Going to go on a road trip with it, should be fun. It's so quiet inside , though keep in mind I'm used to driving my BRZ. I can hear the raindrops hitting the roof when I'm at a standstill with the radio off, heh.

I recently had a 528i for a loaner car, as well. I was much more impressed than I anticipated. I've had that same 4-cyl in loaner 3-series cars, but it just seemed better in the 528i. I was very surprised.

BTW, you can get a "boost gauge" on the iDrive screen. Go into the main settings menu...

My FiL just bought a CPO '15 528, its very nice and smooth. Feels like its about the exact same size as my TL. I immediately looked for a 535 w 6MT and found a '14 with 15k miles for 40k and my trigger finger started twitching... Though i'm still a year or so away from making a move and would really like to find a Vagon when the time comes

Yeah, I mean the 4-cyl isn't mind blowing or anything. But it has no trouble helping the car get out of its own way. There's more usable torque than there would be in say, a non-turbo I6 from days past.

It took forever to figure out how to adjust the headrest up/down my neanderthal brain is too primitive for these fancy European cars.
