So last night around 1030-1045 im laying in bed and hear a decently loud crash from the street below me. I knew the sound instantly, atleast thought i did. I walk out onto my deck and look down over the railing to see what was going on. Saw a late 80s toyota or nissan sitting from where i heard the noise. As soon as i look down some one from inside my building yells at them and they speed off.

Instantly i knew what had just happend. I throw on some clothes and go check it out to make sure that my car, or the girls car hadnt just been broken into. When i head down i run into the guy who had yelled at them, and he said he was yelling at some guy who ran to the white car carrying something under his arm. So we looked around to see what car got broken into, but couldnt find what car it was. I walked around to other side of building to check my car, and then headed up to bed since we couldnt find any cars damaged so no need to call police really.

Well now this morning a CL parked right infront of the main door has a busted in driver window and a brick sitting next to it. Alarm never went off, and they made off with with radio...I cant figure it out how they came back and didnt make any noise the second time around...

Mind you these guys have some balls, the road the car is parked on is a dead end road with street lights every 25ft plus lights on the side of the building. So this place is well lit at night. Makes me worry about my car though. If they are dumb enough to steal under lights, and make a ton of noise...whats stopping them from hitting my car under a carport.

Also, the BMW M3 wasnt touched...or the new 5Series.

Maybe ill use the money from my wheels to get a uber alarm.

Just decided to share....crazy shit happening in a part of town that is usually dead quiet.

I could see stripping a teg, especially if it is modded, but this is a bone stock CL, from the looks of it, the first throw of the brick they tried breaking the rear 1/4 glass but hit the B pillar and only cracked the glass. Second throw busted driver window.

My next place is most likely gonna be in Lake O, so maybe ill do the same and install cams.

Word, my girlfriend had a good point of applying for the Prison near me. Shitty work but with unemployment going up up up, crime will follow.

the economy is making more problems than theft. did you hear about the dad who shot his kids and his wife and left a note saying how both him and his wife lost their jobs and were going to loose thier house and they were going to end up loosing their kids and he didnt want anyone to have his kids but him so he just figured be dead instead

or the guy by kels a few weeks ago shooting ppl waiting to get in the zone - somedays i just feel like the world is ending.

at least my work annonced that they are set with our current future work load and dont forsee any more future layoffs and just plan to cut hours and cut pay of the managers first and then ask for volunteers to take pay cuts then just cut pay.

lets just hope ppl try to keep their minds and dont go too crazy with everything happening. and lets all hope that oregon doesnt run out of money to pay unemployment like the other states are.

But, ive got a new little guy in the house to keep me company.

Yea it was a weak ticket...Just minding my own, doing 60 as a Oregon State Trooper driver flips around and gets in behind me on HWY 101 and pulls me over. Trooper was a woman too, and a baby boxer on my girlfriends lap didnt even get me sympathy lol.

Oh well, i knew i was breaking the law so in a month ill make another coast trip and show the Trooper my front plate and tint. Make a nice weekend out of it or something.


Ha, exactly. His first night was a bit lonely, would whine and cry every 30min or so being it his first night away from his mom and other pups. Once i came out and slept on the couch next to his bed he was fine.

Little bastard knows how to make someone like him quick.

My tint according to the meter is 25.6%, funny thing...she was the only cop i saw all day

how dark is your tint suppose to be? 25.6% seems strange usually its only a few % darker than what its called out. like 30% = 28%?? or am i totally off

damn 290 for a box install is insane.. i would deff tackle the bof yourself.. make sure you measure the inside diameter not the outside to get the correct qubic inches.. I remember my first fiberglass box was F--'d up cause i didnt think of that wasted all that time and material

 

My goal is to have a box like Mike's (aznboi) set up. Since i got the slim MTX 10'' it should be easy, box only has to be about 4.5inches tall.



Just need to decide if im gonna vent it or not, and where to buy fabric to match OE carpeting.

 

there is a place in N portland by the windemier restaraunt that sells that kind of carpet its where i got the stuff to do my scion.. ill try to look up the info later today
