here is my cover.. was able to polish it and sand it up.. as you can see there were a couple spots where the glue i used caused the weave to distort and stretch.. but part all in all is fine holes drilled ready for use.. weight after cleaning and holes fluxuates between 2 7/8th oz to 3 oz.. not bad since actually part is about 4 oz more

4 oz is 1/2 drink at the bar. No biggie. However, I think it looks really good. I'd give you money to make my shit, but it's not for me 'cause you'd never see it on my ride. If you want a good laugh at someone who wasted their time and money on painting their RDX plug cover see AZ member: 737Jock

We are going to trade the RDX soon, I'll let you know. Still waiting on a roof/window bid.???

Watching "Lotto changed My Life" on TLC. These winners can't handle the money. Stuuupid white trash bitch is driving a Lambo with the phone charger cord stuck in the shift gate! Had to raise the car to drive up the dirt driveway...Fuuuck, life is so unfair! (15 mil, Florida)

lol driving home from work a couple days ago. Pulled onto the highway and some pudgy Pauly Shore looking guy in a green Ford Explorer ran a red light and almost rear-ended me. He was completely oblivious to what he just did, assumed I cut him off, so he went all road rage on me. Flashing his lights at me (at 3 PM, wtf? ) honking, flipping me off, pulled up alongside me, staring me down like he was gonna do something. I thought it was hilarious so I started cracking up uncontrollably. Which pissed him off a bit more. I let him get ahead of me, then he proceeded to weave around traffic up ahead whenever I'd start catching up to him (was he scared or something, all of a sudden? I'll never know. I definitely wasn't trying to chase) The whole thing was just so bizarre I couldn't stop laughing. Not to mention the doucheness of road rage. Iunno, I just thought it was hilarious What a psycho. I looked over at other drivers and they did seem a bit scared, if not cautious.

At the very least, if he DID try anything, there was a police station just a fraction of a mile away, so.....

Also, has anyone with a CAI ever cleaned out the filter? I have an Injen and I guess you're supposed to use a cleaner + oil on it every so often? Curious how easy or difficult it is to do it right, or if maybe it'd just be easier to buy a whole new air filter altogether. But then again the cleaning kit is $13 and the new filter is $48 or so...

Funny had a similar experience with a black Ford Explorer, he just couldn't catch up to me.

The best one was this guy in a Buick who was so obviously drunk I almost called the pigs on him. He flipped me off after I told him he hit the curb in the BUS PULLOUT!.

its not hard to clean.. spray the soapy stuff all around it make sure to get in the strips of the cone good.. let sit for about 10 minutes.. take hose to it so you clean the dirt out real good. then if its still nasty repeat.. if not let it sit and dry out once dry spray the oil on.. make sure not to over coat it and make the oil dripping from it.. then let it sit again.. then you are done..

i do my cleanings twice a year once in sept october.. and the other in april may

In my younger more testosterone driven years I was driving down I205 back from West Linn at about 12:00am and some bitch cut me off so I rolled up tight, pulled out gave her the bird and she then proceeded to high beam me for about a mile. So like a fitting young male in a rice rocket I slowed down pulled behind her and high beamed her off the free way and into a 711 parking lot where she pulled in, at which I point i just pulled right behind her so she couldn't back out and just sat there.... for at least 10 minutes until she got the courage to get out and run and I mean literally run into 711 where she was looking frantic to the cashier pointing out the window.

Probably didn't cut people off and high beam em for it after that...

Alas, I am far more laid back now. Get cut off these days and shout four letters at my dash for about 10 minutes as if anyone could actually hear me. If you get cut off and you start swearing and there is no one to hear it, does it really matter? You know like a tree falling the woods making a sound.

^^Had a growing issue with driving related stress. Now I take the train. Chris, you should give it a try. Sure it adds an hour to my day. And there are the occasional drooling window-lickers. But there are also other things to look at on the MAX.
Today it was a gypsy spinner in Lycra. 20 minutes and I was drooling.

Yea, funny how some people convince themselves that they are the "good" driver. I've had a couple of buddies who just couldn't get the grip of it. One in particular that I refuse to ride with because he cannot modulate the gas pedal. He actually hit a semi in Idaho. How the hell do you run into a fucking big-rig???

I still get that shit occasionally, being on HWY 26, in the slow lane mind you and I can see them come weaving in and out of traffic just to catch up and give me the 'sup look. It's like, knock that shit off I don't need the attention of local law enforcement, no I don't want to race, and yes it is slow but looks semi-fast. Move on.

Where I work is moving to the west side of the river in August, so I might be on that damn train. No way will I pay over 150 a month for parking in some sweaty garage.

Not yet, it's being built right now, they just had the second floor joists put up and floor. Today I'd imagine they are dropping in the stairs to the second floor and the exterior walls for it.

We wont move in until mid-november

we're at the base of the hill on the dead-end street part.

We're sort of excited and sort of not, a bit of buyers remorse but that's to be expected I suppose. Regardless it's a great investment because it's already worth more than we paid.

got a pic of what youre talking about? is it something that already been done so i can make a mold from it? or is it somethin i have to make myself and then do a mold?

never mind i think i know what youre talking about.. and i dont see one done.. boy its do able.. but it would take a while.. you gonna buy one? cost would be about 275 if i were to sell it hahaha.. actually you have an a-spec? might beable to do it even cheaper if i could use your bumper to go off of.. i guess the next problem would be how many people would buy it? i would most likely make it something that just sticks to the existing one.. i could also just do fiberglass to save cost.. but i think carbon would look better IMO

FLP spoiler is a good looking lip spoiler for sure, but the built quality is

And somehow stock sized belt wont fit stock diameter UR pulley set. Had to get longer Gates belt to make it work.

Funny I saw an old 911 turbo yesterday running on a set of wheels that looked just like these.

It looked so weird I almost got a pic. Should've.

Old stock belt which has been stretched a little with age was tad bit longer than
the new stock sized belt (Gates K070690). New stock sized belt did not fit at all and Old stock belt barely fitted with too much tension (tensioner mark all the way to left passing the longer square mark). So went with longer belt (Gates K070701) but this one is little too long now. The tensioner mark is very close to the right side of smaller square. Gonna try out the Gates K070694 which is bit longer than stock sized belt and shorter than K070701.

And with the poor quality of FLP lip spoiler, its gonna cost $225 to get it repaired and painted to perfection.

Spoon spoiler is pricey, but fitment is perfect and build quality is perfect. Sometimes you can't put a price on convenience.

Could always go down the J's racing spolier route and have a shopping cart wing on the back but get some JDM kudos for it.

The way things are going in PDX these days those you'd probably have your trunk ripped off for the wing.

Can't wait to sell my modded car for a stockie and not do shit to it lol, fuck thieves.

Didn't like the look of Spoon spoiler so FLP was the only choice
