Another thing i might add. Use the money saved on a 250 and get yourself some nice gear. Nice protection will go along ways in a getoff.

I have the same camera. What lens is that? I currently have a 17-55mm and 50mm.

Looks like everyone here has a Dslr. Maybe we should have a photoshoot meet. lol

In my Type-S I tense up when hitting pot holes. I haven't felt relaxed going over a bumb in a couple years.

Just wondering how stiff they really are

The front suspension is fairly stiff, the rear is not stiff at all. Honda did that to reduce bump oversteer.

I'd say in some situations it is less jarring than your Type-S.

Did the Stage 3 Exhaust mod. Straight piped my mid-muffler and replaced oem resonator with a Dynomax hi-flow resonator.

Here are the sound results:

Sounds like a G35 in my opinion! I'm pretty happy with it!

That sounds great ! I kinda wanna do this now. Is that the only things you have done to the exhaust? How much was the dynomax resonator? And did u do it or have a shop?

RJ Legends? Looks good.

Spotted this TSX during the morning commute (185th & Baseline, Beaverton)

CGP, JDM Headlights, Mugen rear lip spoiler, lowered, and the wheels looked like Work Varianza but not sure.

They sure do look good though though. Worth it.

Another thing is i pay about $15 a month on insurance vs double that or more for the 600 class sport bikes. Actually anything the insurance calls a "sport" bike will cost more and the 250 is not defined as sport. Go and sit on them at a dealer and see what fits you better. Consider insurance and what your going to use it for also. Supersports are extremely nice and all but can also be a nightmare if your just learning to ride.
Yeah, the insurance is something I didn't even consider. I know I will probably be paying through the ass for insurance on a bike because of my age, and the bigger the engine the more I will have to pay. The main appeal of the 250 for me is how light everyone says it is. But I'm on the fence about just saving for something like an r6, or getting the 250. I dunno. When I get some free time I'm just gonna head to a dealer and see which one fits me better. And about the gear, yea that's a given. My friend pretty much skinned up one side of his body from riding with no gear.

^Also, if I did get something like an r6, it wouldn't be for commuting as much as having fun.

But I know that will be a few bikes down the line.

i tried same infinity 6x9 2way, but didn't get a good result so just returned it. by replacing 6x9, it just killed low bass so i put the oem "bass only" 6x9 woofers back on..

I think I have Kappas in the rear deck of mine (been so long can't remember) but they hit close to what a 10" sub could do, just a lil less frequency response than an actual sub/amp set up.

I NEED to replace my endlinks and change my front brake pads, and get new tires. Holy shit lol. I think I'll just do what Kyle did and buy a bike and park the TSX for the summer. With gas getting up to around 5 bucks a gallon my commute is murdering my wallet. 70mpg on a Ninja 250 is enticing.

gas price is slowly coming down now.. err it is in my area atleast.. still 4$ plus for premium but better then 4.30$ a gallon

you just need new pads or rotors too? endlinks are easy to change.. let me know if you need help.. Puppies are coming in 2 weeks and ill be busy with that for a bit but will be home for the next 3 weeks and can squeeze you in =)

Um the rotors can prolly go for another round, though they are getting in need of a turning

Endlinks are super easy, removed many a sway bar so no issue there, just replacing pads = bleh.

We're pretty busy the next few weeks to with house stuff coming up, have to go to the designer center and pick out finishes, spend money, cry about money then be excited hopefully

FWD on street tires is tough. You just can't get out of the hole fast enough to make use of the top end.
