Just popped into the the RL threads, holy cow they are boring. They spend their hours talking about Bluetooth and it's virtues (you know, how safe it makes you blah, blah). Whereas I like Bluetooth because it leaves both my hands free. One for the steering wheel and one for my dick.

Cause most RL drivers are moldy-oldies! Can't drive over 45mph anywhere and bought the car cause it was large, luxurious, quiet and could mow over a store full of children when the cruise control gets "stuck"

No shit, like a total sleeper. Here's an ultimate sleeper story:
Someone in Eugene had an 1990 Volvo Wagon that used to belong to the actor Paul Newman, it had a GM350 under the hood and sport suspension!!! I guess he really liked Volvo wagon's and loved to dump fast motors into them. Check out this link for his last ride:

Yep, I agree. Not the vehicle for me, but I kinda drive something like it anyhow. I really wanted a 2 seater, and I still eye every S2000 with envy. Unfortunately we wont be making any changes to the fleet for years to come. Serious lack of $$$$. I need a new stove and roof.

Those are the California girls if I've ever seen them. Oregon girls are fatter and can hold their liquor better.

TRue Car Story

Murphy's law of cars. Tried to rotate the tires on the RDX yesterday but I couldn't get the old jack high enough to properly set the stands on one side of the car. I looked through CL for used jack, even hit a few pawn shops but no one had anything big enough. So I broke down and bought the 3Ton Craftsman. I was coming home from Sears and suddenly got ABS, VSA, and VES (vehicle emissions system) warnings. Pulled over stopped and restarted but still get VES. Why now SOB RDX? Typical car shit.

Might have been loose gas cap. I took it off and retightened it, and when I returned video to Red Box it was gone. We shall see. Funny though because it has NEVER thrown any codes in 52,500miles. And who knows why VSA??? Tires are rotated and pressure adjusted.
That new jack is hard to work with in my tiny garage. Had to take the top half of the handle off.

Yep I remember the boys pissing in my front hedge at UofO. Found numerous empty bottles and cans in there too. There is no really good way to beat 'um. Hey, you've got dogs right. Why not chain up the one with the biggest bark right next to the problem area?

Coastal Farm & Home supply.

Be careful about the things you do that make your home trespasser proof. If they get hurt they can sue you(not that they would win)...There was a guy who had his business broken into several times so he electrified the window frame with 240V. The same guy broke in again and was killed when his hand bridged the gap between two strips of "hot" flat bar the owner had placed on the window sill. The DA attempted to charge the store owner with manslaughter because he knew he might kill the guy if he touched it.
I think the case was later dropped, but you get the idea.
They may be a pain in the ass, but we cannot torture them with a fire hose or barb wire.

EDiT: And remember, they must be INSIDE your house when you shoot them.

Should have mentioned this earlier, I have a few drywall tools if you need them. I assumed you already framed, but I also have pneumatics such as Hitachi nr83a2 framing nailer, etc. They just sit in the garage collecting dust. I was planning on using them to remodel grandma's house in Helvatia, but the old lady will not DIE and there's no way we could sell this house in today's market anyhow. So we are STucK here in Suburbia. I envy you.

seattle and portland are 2 different worlds man.. but no taxes down here =) depends on what you are looking for.. outlets? or just general shopping? lloyd is the biggest in the state but IMO it doesnt have all the shops clackamas does,, nearest outlets are woodburn which are 40 minutes south of downtown

Another "True Story"

So I pulled a rookie mistake. I wasn't going to post this because it's embarrassing, but it's good info so no one else has this issue occur.

When I was driving home I changed lanes in the tunnel quickly and noticed that rear of the car kinda slid into the lane oddly. I needed to pick up some wheel locks for Carries car at the RTA on Canton Rd so I topped the hill and started coming down to the dealer. All of the sudden I had a weird vibration and pulled over into a gas station to check.
The right rear was loose, almost fall-off loose. I took out the jack and twisted her up off the ground, took off the wheel and nearly shit my pants. It looked like the hub was badly damaged around the centric ring. Then I looked at the hub closer and realized that it was the ring from the inside of the wheel.
It turns out that when I rotated the wheels/tires the hub centric ring spacer from the Breyton wheel had gotten stuck on the rear hub. I hadn't noticed it (because of the dark garage and angle of application) and put the other wheel with spacer fully intact, right on top of it. There was just enough room for 1-1/2 spacers. When I tightened it up the wheel tightened up evenly and I didn't notice any gaps, but it was never touching the actual hub. So when I changed lanes the outer edge of that soft alloy on the spacer started to give and the wheel started wobbling. It got worse and worse until I pulled over.
The inside of the wheel was a bit chewed up as well but fortunately the other spacer was fine. And since the inside of the ring that got stuck on the hub was undamaged, I was able to file the excess aluminum away and salvage it and put it back on the front wheel where it belonged.

In the 20 years I've been swapping wheels out I've never had this happen, but I wanted to share in the hope that it never happens to any of you.

^I was kidding.
No wheels falling off today, but I almost hit a Miata that was entering the parking garage through the exit. That got my blood pumping.
