The alignment for the strut is at the bottom of it. So it bolts to the axel (yes wrong term) anyways and there is a lil arrow that represent alignment, it really has nothing to do with the top of the strut and where it bolts to the strut tower. By nature you're going to have a hard time getting the strut to come out of the tower, or even to drop down a bit without some persuasion.
The axel is meant to move up and down so you stepping or pulling downwards on the rotor wont hurt it at all. All you're trying to do is get the bolts to just come down enough to remove the bar
It wont hurt your car at all. I swapped my suspension on the TSX in a weekend alone and I was way rougher on it than that but employed the same method in removing the front struts. No problems!

U of P is a great school from what I've heard, I never went though, had family that did and they never complained.

so here is the break down..
dont care about your car and want it to get hit scratched or broken into (stay away )
dont mind the parties then people starting stuff for no reason then peeing on your car cause they dont like you ( probably should stay away)
want to score with a bunch a chicks with low self esteem then this is your school

UofP? Yep, good school for engineering, theology, biology, and pre-med. I don't think I could recommend it because it is so expensive. Although I've dated two girls from UofP, one of which I now live with. One was level headed and sweet, the other wanted me to pull her hair and kept calling me uncle Franky. So if you have the money ($9,400 per semester), it is a good school. But some of the students have issues.

No, I had my fill of wacky bitches. I kept the sweet one.
Although I should have known that naughty girl was trouble because on our first date she stole an ashtray from the bar we were at. I don't smoke anymore but I still have the ashtray as a keepsake.

Left the house at 8:15am, Just got to work at 10:00am
Nothing like a little snow to shut down our city.
#4329
I heard our westside people saw some white stuff in the trees coming down Canyon Rd. (Hwy 26) through the tunnel. I didn't hear anything was sticking on any roads.
I came in from the eastside in close and saw barely anything even hitting the windshield . . . at 6:45 AM.

^ Yes unfortunately, it was a northwest-side thing and it stuck at my house. I didn't even bother to put on the snow tires, because I my buddy Rod said I wouldn't need them. On the way over the hill (Barnes rd/Burnside) the mini-van in front of my kept slipping on acceleration?? I think s/he just needed new tires. We shall see what the rest of the week brings, I doubt we will get any significant snow-fall at my house (300ft).

im still home so the snow didnt bother me a bit

I need a new job. Real vacation? I take it when they tell me to take it. Carrie can't even get time off. She just cashed out a months worth of pay. When I asked her if that was a good move, she told me she had seven weeks worth of vacation pay building up.
How is it you still have a job that you can leave for two weeks?

Anyways, had to put my ETD thing on the backburner for a bit since I actually had to go out and get a new jack + jack stands. I swear every time I go to AutoZone or O'Reilly, I get stuck right behind the guy at the register who's trying to get advice:
"Something might be wrong with my car, but I don't know what" was what I thought I heard them say

the guy who started the area close to mine was with the FBI and retired and started it with our bank but kept the lines open back with his fbi buds so they get in contact with us when they want us to check on accounts to help build cases
#4343
too bad its not 5 w 30 =(
#4344
so i have some bad news chris looks like the ruckus will be on hold for a bit.. wife is wanting to make the TSX faster so i guess i might go for the Kpro now.. ive been toying with that thought anyway specially now that Ktuned did a harness for it
#4346
ha. Worked CS at a major lumber/hardware chain in Eugene 20 years ago. FBI had an a standing account with us and the authorized signers were "Mr. Brown" and "Mr. Grey", no joke.

Open at your own risk, because I don't trust these forwarded links and always open them at work (just in case).
Glad I don't live there anymore (and never will again)!

^ yep. I probably did not need the snow tires to get down my hill this morning (Sorry). Kind of bummed that I had to come to work in the first place. P.P.S. is closed, but P.S.U. is open? My mom (Eugene) said that the public schools are closed down there as well, but UofO is open. Seems like Portland gets a-lot of these pissy mix precip days, then every 20 years we get two in row like '89-'90 & '08-'09. Weird how that works out.
Seems like I remember a good one (snowstorm) in 2004 or 5? Anyone else?

Wow, two days in a row we've had all sorts of snowstorm and icy road advisories... that pretty much fell flat on their face. At least that's how it is over here. Just some snow that stayed off the streets, maybe a few icy patches that my car didn't even notice.
#4357
lol The media loves to create graphics on the screen like "ARTIC BLAST", which does nothing but generate water cooler talk the day before. After 5 years in the midwest with lake-effect snow, I take these weather advisories as nothing special.

^ the world could be ending and the media would goose it up and say its glorious outside and that there is nothing wrong.. then on the flip side when there is an earthquake they take it up 4 notches and say it has to do with some global issue and that its the sign that earth is starting to break up into peices and we are all gonna die soon..
