whats up bay area. i'm from daly city and new to to this forum and just got my 05 tl 6mt last week. whats a good shop you guys can recommend that knows the ins and outs of our cars? i upgraded from an 03 accord lx 4dr auto after and accident that left her totaled. so i just ordered an a-spec suspension and ct short shifter need to get that installed and was planning on a few more goodies.

For real service/maintenance I go to a shop in San Jose.

That person is Winston from Winston Auto Service.

Don't really have a solid shop here in the City I trust yet.

 

After 3+ years, I finally swooped up the grille I've been wanting. Not as rare as the eyelid I have (only 2 in the states) but still pretty rare. (3 on the mainland, 2 in Hawaii.



Also got a 2nd set of wheels. Not them diamond racing steelies. These are made by Cragar. 15x10 all around. Offsets: 0 up front and -20 in back. Finally got that fat lip! Better pics to come.

 

SICK! Damn...bet that grille set you back a pretty penny!

 

+2 on Winston...well i found him because of you guys! Nice guy and his shop is right next door to work so I can leave it for the day and come over after work to pick it up! Just got a solenoid replaced in my car X_X couldnt shift from P -> D -> R -> P lol

 

+3 on Winston! i've been going to him for over 4 years now and i'm from San Leandro (~40mi trip) and he has helped me in every way with my car! I always recommend my friends to him and anyone here on AZ!

 

Is this guy Winston a Honda/Acura only guy, or does he do other cars as well??

Winston is a Honda Certified Technician, but he does work on other cars..

you can shoot him an email for a quote. to me, i believe he's pretty fair with his prices and his quotes are on point.

I've seen that Porsche everytime I've been there! It's sexxx and I thought it belonged to him..but I saw him drive a truck one time while i was off work! Yeh, he's been really helpful the times i brought my car over and he texts me any updates

 

Really?! I didn't know you saw that Porsche there that many times...maybe it's an expensive decoy! lol
