The show was cool but I probably won't go next year.
Gone now 2 of the 3 years and I just can't justify waiting 3 hours to get into car shows.

Well yeah sure..I'm just saying that it was a cool show but they got a lot of work to do in my opinion with crowd management.
No one was stopping all those people from cutting the line and people were just walking down the hill and jump into line.
Also, some of the security guards were moving people to the front of the line for $10 / person.
I don't know what the solution is but I wouldn't wait in a line like that again...just saying.
BUT THANKS FOR THE FLYERS! Appreciate it man!

thanks man..its unfortunate for me that my car wasnt presented at wekfest in anyway similar to how it really sits since it didnt on the trailer with the normal ride height and wheels. really wish you and the plat vip guys coulda seen the car as intended. I'm still looking for cups if plat vip is at all interested in helping out.
thanks Eddie!
adrian, any particular reason for going with cups instead of full on air runners? they cost the same dont they?
oh and sorry i didnt formally introduce myself, i was just in shock seeing your car finally. haha. i would have come by again but we (the team rev guys) had to follow our models like a their body guards, lol. and by the time the models were done, there were a million people in there so i didnt feel like going back into the building.

air and cups behave very differently. ill keep it as short and simple as i can..with cups, rather than having a air bag on top of the strut, you have strut > spring > cup. this way, when your cup is deflated, it acts as a top hate and youre basically riding on coilovers. when inflated, you still use the spring for dampening thus giving you a stiffer ride. the main purpose of cups is to drive with no air and then use it for convenience to get over obstacles. it is also possible to drive with it inflated, but it shoots the spring rate through the roof. for some tho, thats exactly the type of harsh ride they need. one isnt necassarily better than the other, just suit different needs.
