I got some pics laying around. I had the original solid chrome "concave" wheels so I never inspected the wheel fitment or lug pattern. Sorry...

I do have some pics, fully restored interior black with white a-pillars and headliner. White Wolfsburg steering wheel and belts, belt buckels. It was dope.

Gotta dig them up...

Noah, if you are talking about the VW pics you got, that's a wide 5. Nothing even close to a 4x100, let alone a 4x113.4.

5x205, then they went to 4x130. I think they went to the 4x130 in 67.

oh boy, a lot of work ahead of me. rears fit fine, just a tad more camber and its good. the front on the other hand... pull fender, buy camber kit, trim fender liner, maybe narrower tire too. let the headaches begin.

That is the sex Vimal. I am loving your choice of rims. I love the aggressive slight bulge and they look guhrrreat!

the camber kits for the accords typically max out at -2 camber. think that + a pull will be enough?

Vimal, that doesn't look bad at all. You need smaller tires all the way around though. Smaller tire up front with camber and I don't think you will need to do any fender work up front.

Thanks man.

I had to part with it because it wasn't economical for living in the city.

I had it modified with a VW Bus transmission and the gearing was modified.

Also, modified engine with about x2 the stock HP!

Wasn't easy to drive but a lot of fun!

Thanks man.

My folks owned a mechanic & machine shop who made custom VW motors/bugs on the side.

They gave me this for my 21st BDay present and it was sick.

I added some touches like mounting stereo in glove box and phantom speaker setup in the rear.

But kept everything else restored. It was helllaaa clean!

I used to get so many compliments and you can't tell but the black had a slight pearl in it.

Instead of trying to sell it, I gave it back to them when I opted to buy another ride with more luxury feel.

I'm gonna get another one later in life when it doesn't have to be a daily driver.

im on Tein SSP, im down all the way, next step is to remove the collars which is already planned. although it'll make my stance a little lower, by about .25inch, i doubt that much more of a drop would camber the wheel enough.

stock offset on my car is +55:

http://www.drive accord.net/forums/attachment.php?attachmentid=10617&stc=1&d=12011809 47 (no space between drive and accord)

this is also very helpful in calculating rim size... http://www.1010tires.com/WheelOffsetCalculator.asp

according to that second link, compared to stock rims, my new rims have 8mm less clearance on the inside, and extend out 56mm more, lol.

sounds good, im going to try the camber first with these tires, if i still rub then i'll change the front tires. i like the fit in the rear so im just gonna camber it a tiny bit more and call it a day on the rears.

all four corners are already rolled. they rub like a mofo right now though so i need that camber kit for sure. in the 5 minutes i drove the car around the parking lot, i managed to rub paint off the inner part of the fender in the area the tire was hitting the edge of the fender on uneven surface when i was turning. lock to lock on even surface, theres no rubbing.

its a 50" tv and we managed to snap one of the monoprice lag bolts, lol. i dont understand why monoprice insists on supply hella long bolts that are only grade 5, 3.25 inches long and only predrill 2.5 inches. after the bolt gets through the 2.5 inches of predrilled area, theres way too much torque on the bolt shaft, and it snaps... has happen 4 times to me now with monoprice bolts. kiran just bought slightly shorter bolts, greased em up and it worked

@noah...dude something just hit me last nite...does the bug possibly come with a/c? or even a heater?

that wheel chart says the TL is +45...i thought it was +55...can any reconfirm that?

they're not federals, they're General Exclaim UHP 225/40/18

any tips on removing the nut at the top hat? what'd you use to hold the shaft straight while you removed the nut up top?

Federals are suppose to run one size big as well.

I don't recall when VW's came w/ A/C. They all had heaters though. If you keep the heater boxes off the block, you can keep the heater. People tend to get rid of them though. There is a knob you twist between the 2 seats up front. Two small vents near the kick panels and two vents that blow on the windshield will kick out heat when you open it up.

If you must, an impact gun will take care of any spinning. hehe. Should be something to hold it in place though.
