They were never ahead of anyone... I wouldn't buy their stock.

They recently announced that they will buy out SeeBeyond, and their technology is becoming quite popular, so who knows. I made some money on SBYN, thanks to SUN, but I would still not buy their stock.

They were good when the only other alternative was HP UX. Now that Linux is here, it's bye bye. Who wants to be locked into proprietary hardware and a *nix that isn't even as friendly as the free stuff?

If it gets down closer to 3 again pick it up. It is about a 4 dollar stock right now.

Hopefully they will turn it around eventually as I am underwater in all of my stock.

I love this stock simply because someone who tried to screw me out of $1.5 million is heavily invested in this stock and his break even point is $36/share. Its on my watch list and I have no plans on ever buying any, but it makes me feel good this ass hat lost a lot of dough.

As a long time SUNW holder (5+ years), my advice to you is to stay the hell away.

Hmm... Was wrong in all his stock picks... I think I'll do the opposite. I'll buy puts leveraged with all my worldly posessions.

I've maintained a stellar 2% return YTD with a diversified portfolio. I think S&P is about 0.1% up YTD and the mutual fund community is negative returns as a whole. I've done 100%+ in real estate though. Damn 401K plans making me keep it in stocks...
