Grace not picking up data for new CD's being recorded

This just started today. I've recorded about 300 CD's from my collection with not much trouble. Today I started putting new ones in and they load, screen says "reading" and then I see the record % up top - recording starts but nothing of value is on the screen! I didn't want the CD to record with nothing there so I took it out. Tried three more and same thing. Even let it go for a minute or two but still no data. Here is a screenshot of the top screen. Anyone else have this happen?
Note: this happened after I got back into the car after it was parked in the sun for about an hour. I did wait until almost home (about an hour when the inside temps in the car were cool) but that didn't help.

I am suspect of the heat due to the fact that my 2013 TL had a worse problem when it was parked in the sun on a day with temps over about 85. In that case, the radio froze up and would do nothing until the interior temps were brought down, Then I'd have to turn the car off and start it again to get it to work.
I don't want to find out there is a problem with this new system after over a month of loading and sorting CD's. Its a time consuming process!

I have had my 2015 I4 Tech TLX since September 2014. I live in South Florida. The car interior easily reaches 110 degrees F. I have had no heat issues.

Are you sure it's actually recording? The HDD's 15GBs of storage records about 3,000 songs. It sounds like you've reached your capacity on the HDD if you've recorded 300 CDs.

Regarding the heat issue, after being in the garage all night, the next day it returned to normal, so still not sure about the heat issue thing.
It is still recording CD's and I am only about 75% through the collection. My last two Acura's, the 2013 and the 2009 both fit all of my CD onto the HDD, so I don't believe the 3,000 song limit. Also I am already past it.
I will mention it to service when I go in for my first oil change.

I believe the limit is 20,000. A DJ posted a pic somewhere of the error message.

20,000 Track Limit. Burn away.

Just happened to me and it was like 12-degrees Fahrenheit out. I honestly think it just gets wonky with temperature extremes like any PC. The next time, it worked. Call it a reboot. Should you record a whole CD you'll have to either update info track by track OR delete all the tracks one by one, then re-rip the bad boy. Lesson here is that if after you load a CD NOT on the HDD and you don't see the GraceNote banner, eject it. Try it on the next trip OR turn the vehicle off and on if you are so inclined.
