Hissing Noise?
Hey guys, it's probably the new car syndrome(hearing/seeing all flaws 2 weeks after purchase), but does anyone else's ILX have a quiet hissing noise from the front passenger side after turning the car off? It goes off for about an hour. I didn't notice it until I parked my ILX in the garage where it was quiet enough to hear it. My RDX never does this... Is this normal for the ILX? Thanks!

To all Technology Package ILX owners,
Is there a way to send an address to the vehicle? Also is there a switch or something that lets you input navi info. while driving?

I have this as well, I've assumed it was the sound of the coolant returning to the reservoir tank.

Yeah, I noticed this too. Usually happens for me after a longer drive or when I am feeling adventurous with the car. I don't know if it is the AC, though I think it has something to do with the coolant / radiator

Greetings,
I have noticed the noise you guys are discussing as well, typically after longer drives. I also noticed this noise in my previous '14 Civic Si as well. It is normal. Direct injection engines definitely don't sound the prettiest either.

I don't know about the ILX but I just returned from the dealership today complaining about this for my 2013 Acura TSX.
I have recorded this on video and will upload to youtube if I get a chance.
Apparently, it is the AC system pressure equalizing? That's what they say and to be honest, there doesn't seem to be any coolant leaks or overheating so it may indeed be true.
I'd be interested in hearing from other Acura owners on this.
