Hi All, All this phone stuff is not my strong point so please bear with me on this puzzling question. I got a new phone and paired it with our 2020 ILX , but we can't get the the Acura phone system to recognize the contacts from the new Samsung phone. We have deleted the old LG phone.......and it was a PITA to get the new phone paired, but we finally got it done. The only thing we did that may have caused an issue is that we changed the SIM card from the old LG phone to the new Samsung phone (we DID NOT change providers). Research suggest that this is a normal thing to do and shouldn't have any effect on the operation of the Acura's phone system. We have learned from experience that these Acura phone systems are "Problematic" to say the least or at least problematic compared to the one in our 2017 Colorado truck that is a breeze to figure out. So bottom line here is that we have to punch in any phone #'s to make a call because the Acura system can't (or won't) find the new phones contacts. Any suggestions ?? THANKS to all.
