So this just happen and im pretty pissed. thats acura for ya
I can only think the temperature of the interior was really hot and as i pressed my handbrake down it chipped off.
mmmm hmmmmmm..... SUUUUUUUURE...... PROBABLY you never messed around with it and tried e-brake handle drifting right? NEVER tried that right? MMMMM HHHMMMMMM........
Just take it to the dealer and have it fixed under warranty. Acting like a d-bag when you take it in to the service department probably wont get you very far.
So it wouldn't hurt to try and bitch to the dealer
As others have said, no need to bitch, just ask them to fix/replace under warranty. Your car is a 2015, I'm having a hard time seeing them giving you any hassles.
Will be taking this to the dealership today, I called my salesman and let him know and he personally went out of his way for me and went to one of the Designs rep of Acura and let him know that my car is fairly new and this happened as one of the factory flaw of the ILX. He quoted me up to $300 for this but as a courtesy he would replace this today. Also weird how my domelights on my car never worked when it came off the lot, they will fix that today too.
Also if this happens to any others, you wont be covered. Probably until this becomes a recall. Unless your dealer was as awesome as mine or your car is new.
oh so turns out the dome light was turned off on the front lol there was a switch to enable it. Noob fail
Also lame I was going to get a loaner car but I'm 18... Have to be 21 was going to be a white ILX which I wanted since day one and the day I bought the black someone just took the white.
