ILX engine
ILX engine
I am "the new guy" so be gentle.
My wife is currently driving a 2007 Honda Accod Ex and we are looking to update.
I like the ILX but it seems like it is over priced by about 3K.
The salesmen told me the 2.4 engine in the ILX is totally different than what the 2013 Honda Accord uses.
Is the salesman full of it or is he being honest?
Thanks in advance.

Your wife is probably better off with the Accord anyways..
The engine that 2013 Accord uses is "Earth dream" engine, and one that ILX 6 speed uses is same as TSX and Civic Si, which have been around for a while. I agree, if you don't mind not having sunroof, Accord Sport trim is a better choice for married couple imo.
