Have a question for 2016 ILX owners..first a little background, i know one of the complaints the ILX gets in loud cabin...but, after i took delivery of the car i noticed the back passenger side door was misaligned..there was at least 1/4" gap at the back of the door which i mentioned to the salesperson, they took the car in and realigned the door, but now, it seems i tend to hear more road noise from the passenger side than i do from the drivers side, weird because i am closer to the drivers side door, correct? thing is the door seems perfectly aligned and seems to get that 'thump' when i close it...just asking if anyone else has noticed the road noise...maybe i should take a test ride in another ILX to compare...

I personally have not heard the road noise besides the standard road noise you get from the wheel wells and tires etc. I hear a tad bit of wind every once in a while, but not from the doors, more from the windshield and windows. So personally I haven't heard this issue besides the standard road noise that every car that is partially insulated or somewhat insulated gets.

 

I tend to agree with this statement. No major abnormal road noise for me.

 

OP...Have you tried a new ILX of the lot and compare it with your own?

 

thats my next option, when i take the car in for the brake service i may ask to get a loaner ILX to drive around in for a day..will update then..thanks for the responses
