A1 Service cost?

I realize the A1 (first service) service is pretty minor and won't be that expensive but what have dealerships been charging for this service? I realize it's varies by location though. I'm here in California.

Although I don't have any complaints or concerns with the car, does anyone having any advice or suggestions for the dealership to look at that maybe is a common problem?

I believe that's just a oil change and tire rotation I wound not pay more than $40-50 tops and I'm in the Midwest.

In the NY Westchester area, A1 cost me $79.95 for my TSX Wagon. It included an oil change (synthetic blend), tire rotation and balance, and a car wash and vac. It also included the usual visual checks and fluid level top off (no additional charge).

I went to the Fremont Dealership, in Northern CA and it costed me $63.27 for the oil change, top fluids, tire rotation, car wash, vaccum, and visual checks. There were coupons on their website and I used those.

At the dealership though the associate that helped me tried to sell me a way more expensive package which I nicely declined because it was 100+.

I live in Southeast Michigan. The dealership nearby charges 36 dollars for Service A and 10 dollars for tire rotation. Also every service includes free vacuum, car wash, and loaner vehicle too.

Thanks, I knew it wouldn't be expensive but I was just curious at what I was going to spend. Sounds like the first service is just a glorified oil change and tire rotation.

Last time I went, they charged me almost $100. I was shocked. This was just an oil change, rotation, inspection. This was in California, Ventura County.

^California is more expensive for everything. When I had my Accord I was paying 58 without coupon for a syn blend and fluid top off. Decided to start doing it myself. My Explorer is only 45 full synthetic and I have these 10 dollar off coupons.

Not surprised I guess, but I had the A1 done yesterday and the cost was $99.11. Sounds inline with the other California owners have paid. Still a lot for a glorified oil change and tire rotation which I could have gotten at a quick oil change place for half the amount.

Still nice having the dealership do it though, on the future more expensive services I might check the other dealership in my area although I'm sure it can't be much different.

Can you find a trusted mechanic?

I do luckily, he's certainly someone I'll look into for future services. I figured the first service with an Acura dealership might pickup on any problems during the first service. Of course nothing was wrong.
