Hey everyone, I purchased a 2005 TSX MT equipped with navigation system 4 months ago. The cd player/changer broke 2 weeks ago and now the navigation touch screen is not responding. The acura screen comes on when I start up the car, then code screen but I can't enter it in cuz the screen doesn't respond when I press on it, then it just goes blank. What do you guys think is the problem and how do I fix it?
Also, if I buy a base radio unit without the navi, will that work in my car? Do they use the same plug and harness?
Any help will be appreciated....

 

Just FYI, my nav stopped working all i saw was acura logo and then screen wouldn't display anything else. I rtied all the fixes and i had to send unit out to Alpinme. Costed me $365 shipped to get unit replaced.....Ouch.

 

When mine had a similar issue, it ended up being a bad DVD rom. I bought one from a wrecked 2007. Works great now.
